We had good results with sntp_get_time snip, but could not make it work in WICED 6.4.0 even after we removed FreeRTOS and LwIP. Anyone had success with sntp_get_time recently ? -- Thanks BM
Show LessHi,
I create a thread,but it doesn't work in ble_remote part of sdk20735B1,code as following,
(ble_remote.c)
#include "wiced_rtos.h"
wiced_thread_t * ir_led_thread;
wiced_queue_t * button_queue;
/* Thread function to control the LED */
void IrLedControl( uint32_t arg )
{
uint8_t key_state;
while(1)
{
WICED_BT_TRACE("IrLedControl wait\n");
/* Wait for button press semaphore */
wiced_rtos_pop_from_queue( button_queue, &key_state, WICED_WAIT_FOREVER );
KeyMatrixHandle(key_state);
WICED_BT_TRACE("IrLedControl\n");
}
}
void bleremoteapp_create(void)
{
uint8_t thread_init_result;
WICED_BT_TRACE("bleremoteapp_create\n");
/* Setup the semaphore */
button_queue = wiced_rtos_create_queue();
wiced_rtos_init_queue(button_queue, "queue", 1, 10);
/* Start a thread to control LED blinking */
ir_led_thread = wiced_rtos_create_thread(); // Get memory for the thread handle
thread_init_result = wiced_rtos_init_thread(
ir_led_thread, // Thread handle
5, // Priority
"LED Toggle", // Name
IrLedControl, // Function
1024, // Stack
NULL );
WICED_BT_TRACE("thread_init_result=%d\n", thread_init_result);
static void KeyMatrixInterruptHandler(void* user_data, uint8_t value)
{
uint8_t read_data;
read_data = KeyMatrixReadByte(INPORT_REG_ADDR); //read inport register status
WICED_BT_TRACE("KeyMatrixInterruptHandler read_data = %02x\n", read_data);
key_state = read_data;
wiced_rtos_push_to_queue( button_queue, &key_state, WICED_NO_WAIT );
}
1. the result of wiced_rtos_create_thread() is '0'
2.the KeyMatrixInterruptHandler() was executed, and the value of key_state is 0x7b
3.KeyMatrixHandle(key_state) can't be executed.
Is there setting error?
Looking forward to reply, thanks
Show LessCustomer is getting WICED_WWD_JOIN_IN_PROGRESS error when trying to connect to wifi. Function wiced_join_ap() returns WICED_WWD_JOIN_IN_PROGRESS (1023) when trying to join access point.
Any ideas what the source of the error is?

Show LessI am opening a connection over Wifi to a remote TCP server and am seeing several problems.
This is with the NetxDuo stack.
First of all wiced_network_up seems to fail randomly (perhaps 1 out of 10 times).
Second when I try to create a socket I sometimes get an error from wiced_tcp_create_socket.
Thirdly, I almost always get errors when I do a wiced_tcp_connect. The error number is 7014.
Finally, I am repeatedly seeing error messages TCP Allocate Failed.
Despite these issues, my application is able to connect to the XMPP server and work sometimes.
Is there something about how it needs to be configured?
Show LessHas anyone worked with a TPM device inside WICED environment ? We have tried to use the Infineon TPM2.0 ( SLB9670vq20 ) which seems pretty decent, but we have not found a decent driver for it except a complicated driver for Linux. We are using STM32F469 and are looking for a TPM driver for this MCU. Appreciate some feedback. -- Thanks, BM
Show LessHi Sir,
We use stm32 as host mcu,communicate with cyw43012 through uart interface.
Now we known that bt stack and profiles run in the chip.
About BT function,we intend to customize api use wiced hci cmd on platform stm32 instead of using wiced studio SDK ,is that ok?I guess we only need to do above,or what else we need to do?Meanwhile,do we still nedd to download bt firmware?
Thanks,
Leo
Show LessHi,
Currently working on ISM43362-M3G-L44-E/U serial-to-Wifi module.
Using WICKED STUDIO to build and ST-Link utility software to flash the binary files externally.
From my understanding we have to flash three .bin files(Correct me if I'm wrong)
- Bootloader .
- DCT and Application.
I had few question:
- How should be the flash address given for each file? and what is the order of flashing ? .
- Should all be merged and flashed in single shot?.
- Is there any other file that I'm missing?
Please give me your ideas on this.
Thanks In advance
JD
Show LessIn Case#00508473, we got the source code for the DHD driver(1.363.125.17) for Android, now we need the wl utility source code that's compatible with the driver code released to us. We are running the driver on Android_p9.0.0_2.0.0 platform that has CYW43455 chip.
Thanks!
Show LessThere is a vulnerability of the HTTPS server where it can be crashed by commercial online website vulnerability scanners. The setup is:
- snip.HTTPS running on a CYW943907AEVAL1F eval board (SDK 6.4)
- port 443 opened up on router to Internet
- using URL redirection service (free at noip.com) to redirect an URL to the port (this URL is entered into the websites, below).
Running concurrent scans from the following online scanners can crash the server (non-responsive):
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/
https://observatory.mozilla.org/
The problem is exacerbated when I use Firefox to fetch the top page from the server and click it in quick succession while those tests are going on.
