Wi-Fi Combo Forum Discussions
Hi Sir,
We use cyw43438 in STA mode,connect to an AP.
Now we want to establish multiple ports,like HTTPS,MQTT at the same time,can cyw43438 support this?
I have only found single demo like HTTPS in WICED,do we have demo with multiple ports?
Thanks.

Leo
Show LessHi all,
I want to know and understand how to enable the in-built micro-ecc in WICED Studio. I can see that WICED offers micro-ecc feature located in folder: 43xxx_Wi-Fi\WICED\security\BESL\crypto_internal\micro-ecc.
Kindly suggest how to turn on this feature to be able to use it in the file: "wiced_ota2_image.c" located in folder: 43xxx_Wi-Fi\libraries\filesystems\ota2
Show LessBeside WICED, I find there is another WHD project for WiFi develop. After some investigation, I find it's lighter and simpler than WICED (for IoT design, the WICED project is a bit heavier for me).
But from CY's stuff's answer below the closed issue of the WHD project on github, I noticed there may have a limited chips support by WHD for now and in the future.
So, I wonder if there is a clear roadmap for WHD? Will it support the all the comming WiFI chips from CY?Or it will only support some selectively? This will influence our choice of the WiFi driver, stick to WICED, or go to the lighter WHD.
Thanks.

I am working on Muratta 1LD board.
I am facing the following error. JTAG LED is always ON. This error started occurring when I tried to use sflash_write function for OTA_update.

Show LessHi Team ,
I am using Murata!LD wifi module for communicate to Azure server .Initiall I got the certificate data from following path
For Client certificate - apps/azure_iot_hub/client.cer
For Client Key - 'apps/azure_iot_hub/privkey.cer
1)resource_get_readonly_buffer( &resources_apps_DIR_azure_iot_hub_DIR_client_cer, 0, MQTT_MAX_RESOURCE_SIZE, &size_out, (const void **) &security.cert );
2)resource_get_readonly_buffer( &resources_apps_DIR_azure_iot_hub_DIR_privkey_cer, 0, MQTT_MAX_RESOURCE_SIZE, &size_out, (const void **) &security.key );
Using above condition I can able to connect to azure server and able to send data also.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I received the new certificate from UART like this I received and copied into some temp array .
client_cert_data[1200] and cert_length =1200.
client_key_data[1600] and key_length =1600.
Insted of using above 1) and 2) method I plan to use following copy function .But I am not able to publish data please anyone give solution.
strncpy( security.cert,client_cert_data,cert_length );
security.cert_len = cert_length ;
strncpy( security.key,client_key_data,key_length );
security.key_len = key_length;
Thanks

Show LessCurrently i'm implementing USB in my WICED application in combination with a STM32F412RG. However, the WICED delivers an old Standard Peripheral Library which does NOT have support for USB. On the website of STM I found a STM32F4 USB library. Unfortunately that library needs the latest HAL LL library.
When is WICED going to renew the STM32F4 Standard Peripheral Library to the latest HAL / LL libraries? Working with SPL from 2016 is old.
Show LessHi,
I'm trying to run the AWS Shadow IoT example for BCM94343W_AVN but it fails most of the time to get an IP address from my AP, about 90% of the time I'm getting the error "Unable to obtain IP address via DHCP". There is no issue with my AP as other platforms works without any problem. Please, could anyone help me ?

Show LessHi,
I'm planning to create Ethernet short range (about 1-foot distance or less) point to point wireless transfer and was wondering if CYW54907 would be able to achieve 100Mbps throughput at application level (not PHY level) if I deploy 802.11ac with 5GHz frequency and 40M bandwidth. I've looked at Iperf-readme document and it only shows about 10Mbps test speed. If not possible, what would be maximum throughput I can achieve for short distance point to point wireless transfer.
Thanks for your help,
Show LessHello, we've had some breakthroughs with the configuration of our module CYW43455 on our custom board. We've been able to setup an Access Point on the 5Ghz band and it was possible to connect to it and have traffic to the internet via the wan interface.
But now we need also to setup the 2.4 Ghz band, and the situation here es that we don't see it available on the Openwrt Wireless Overview
Now, our question would be if it is necessary to do something in particular to startup the second radio for the other band, or if it should start automatically, then what could we be missing this time?
Thank you.
