When updating with OTA, the "Current Application" area is rewritten, but the "File System Image" of "External Flash" is not rewritten (because of ReadOnly).

Therefore, if you update the software that rewrites [\43xxx_Wi-Fi\resources\firmware\4343W\4343WA1.bin]

I think that the error occurs because "File System Image" of "External Flash" is not rewritten and only "Current Application" is rewritten.

*Maybe there is an error in wwd_process_clm_data()

Is the understanding correct?

And is there a solution?

I am using murata 1LD main controller(STM32F412+CYW43438).We collect the data and stored to flash.we are planning to use 8Gb flash for data collection and OTA.Does murata 1LD support serial nand flash

Hi all -- new to Wiced.

I am trying to do something simple -- I want to change the color scheme of the IDE to a dark mode. I know that eclipse supports it -- I can see the themes in the Eclipse marketspace. Problem is that when I try to install them the install always fails because some dependency is missing -- it doesn't really matter which theme it is - they all fail.

Any pointers?

I am using the WICED-Studio-6.4 under Ubuntu 16.04 OS and the WLAN CYW943907AEVAL1F and CYW954907AEVAL1F  kits

I can build the mfg_test image for the 2 Kits and get them to work reliably using the wl tool supplied by the WICED under the WIndows OS.

The WICED Studio offers only the wl executable file for Windows os and  I am interested to know how I can build the equivalent of Windows wlxxx.exe  file for the Linux OS ?

I am just curious to know if there is an easy way to build the wl executable for Linuz from the various make file.

Hi, I run code(43xxx_Wi-Fi\otr_fr) on Sterling-EWB(Laird).

Is the OTA flash layout belong to internal flash?

My question is how to setup Internal(STM32F412 1MB)+External(2MB) flash layout for OTA? in DCT?

internal flash: bootloader / DCT / Current Application

External flash: FileSystem / APP0 / APP1

WICED version: 6.4

OS: ThreadX

Is there any structure or structure variable that gets updated based on the parameter passed to wiced_framework_set_boot() function.?

Came across a structure named "boot_detail_t.  Is there any variable in this structure that gets updated based on DCT_APP0_INDEX, DCT_APP1_INDEX or DCT_APP2_INDEX that is passed to wiced_framework_set_boot() function?

Hello,

I am working on Murata1LD board in WicedStudio.

I want to place apps to DCT_APP0_INDEX and DCT_APP1_INDEX. I am able to write apps to both these locations. But changing boot sector using function wiced_framework_set_boot() and rebooting always boots with app present in DCT_APP0_INDEX. Do you have any documents explaining the boot loader  flow? I am also looking for a way to identify from which partition the app is loaded.

OS - ThreadX

Please give some guidelines on this.

I just got the CYW94343WWCD1_EVB board and installed WICED Studio 6.4. I see four available platforms but all the projects seem to be for the CYW920706WCDEVAL board. How can I get demo projects for the CYW94343?
