Wi-Fi Combo Forum Discussions
Hi,
I cant for the life of me find a store that sells the wiced wifi dev kit. The partners on your 'where to buy' page are either broken links or they dont have your product listed. Can someone point me to a store that sells these kits in europe?
Regards.
Show LessWHERE is the Current WIFI WICED SDK that was released in JUNE? I need to download urgently!
When a project is compiled, Wi-Fi Firmware (ex. 43362A2.bin) has largest file that the size is over 200KB.
Q1. Is this file offers binary format only?
Q2. How can I get down-size Wi-Fi firmware file? or Wi-Fi firmware file can be modified by user?
Show LessHello.
I need to get RSSI values of any received packet in monitor mode, i.e. probe requests, assoc/deassoc request, beacons etc.
Information from my scan provides RSSI only about APs around, but I need to get RSSI of any packet.
RSSI is present in the radiotap header, but this header is catted in firmware, I suppose, and not being transferred via sdio/sdpcm.
I have tried to use your api like wwd_wifi_get_ap_client_rssi (). I also tried to create my own version to work with STA iface wwd_wifi_get_rssi_by_mac but this approach failed.
Also I have investigated all IOCTL commands and found WLC_SET_MSGLEVEL, perhaps this call can be configured to send radiotap header?
Please help.

Show LessHi all,
Is it only me, but I don't seem to find the latest Wiced 3.x SDK installers for Mac.
I can see the 2.x installer, but that's it.
As it's just make and eclipse, is there a git-repo where we can pull the actual SDK source-files from instead of using those ".macapp/.exe" installers!?
Thanks David

wiced_uart_init( STDIO_UART, &uart_config, &rx_buffer );
/* Send a test string to the terminal */
wiced_uart_transmit_bytes( STDIO_UART, TEST_STR, sizeof( TEST_STR ) - 1 );
/* Wait for user input. If received, echo it back to the terminal */
while ( wiced_uart_receive_bytes( STDIO_UART, &ch, 1 , WICED_NEVER_TIMEOUT ) == WICED_SUCCESS )
