Hi This is kranti kumar, working in lantronix.
I am implementing IPV6 feature using Nex Duo API, it requires _nx_ram_network_driver in nx_ip_create(). it is available in nx_ram_network_driver.c which is a part of nx.a (nx.lib) library. it is not found in wiced librbary, Could you please provide the library or path where it will be installed.

Show LessHello,
I use WICED6.2 with the platform of CYW94343WWCD1_EVB, when I make the "snip.gpio-CYW94343WWCD1_EVB download run", everything is ok and LED1&2 on borad can blink properly. Anyway I want to operate another gpio pin of WICED_GPIO_20(MICRO_GPIO_2),
so I just simply modified the definition of #define WICED_LED1 ( WICED_GPIO_11 ) to #define WICED_LED1 ( WICED_GPIO_20 ) in platform.h and dowload run, but I can not get voltage level changes from WICED_GPIO_20 pin measuring by a multi-meter.
anybody know if there is some else gpio configure I missed?
Chris
Show LessIn AP mode ,please specify all the capabilities supported from below list ?
1 Configuring SNMP settings on APs for least privilege (i.e., read only).
2 Disable SNMP if it is not used. SNMPv1 and SNMPv2 are not recommended.
3 Enhance AP management traffic security by using SNMPv3 or equivalent cryptographically protected protocol.
4 Use a local serial port interface for AP configuration to minimize the exposure of sensitive management information.
5 Consider other forms of authentication for the wireless network such as RADIUS and Kerberos.
6 Deploy intrusion detection agents on the wireless part of the network to detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized access and activity.
7 Deploy auditing technology to analyze the records produced by RADIUS for suspicious activity.
8 Deploy an 802.11 security product that offers other security features such as enhanced cryptographic protection or user authorization features.
11 Wait until future releases of 802.11 WLAN technologies incorporate fixes to the security features or provide enhanced security features.
12 When disposing access points that will no longer be used by the agency, clear access point configuration to prevent disclosure of network configuration, keys, passwords, etc.
13 If the AP supports logging, turn it on and review the logs on a regular basis.
Show LessHi,our customer is thinking use WIFI AD-HOC to connect devices.
So does SDK can support AD-HOC in chip CYW43362,CYW43340 or CYW43438?
If supported,is there any demo?
Show LessI am trying to use the wifi_join() API, but I notice that it takes 2 or 3 tries for this call to successfully complete, and rarely completes successfully in the first try. I see the error:
Unable to obtain IP address via DHCP
Join result 4: General error
On the other hand the wiced_network_up() call succeeds on the same network in one try. Is there something I need to keep in mind when calling the wifi_join() API?
I also noticed that the wifi_join API can be called only after the wiced_network_up() API has been called atleast once and has failed. Is there some initialization API that can be used instead of wiced_network_up() to initialize the network parameters?
Show LessAre there any extra steps required to enable IPv6 in WICED? I am new to IPv6 so I do not really know where to begin in order to test IPv6 functions.
When my app starts up, either in FreeRTOS+lwIP or ThreadX+Netx_duo, i see the message
IPv6 network ready IP: FE80:0000:0000:0000:BAD7:AFFF:FE28:B672 (or FE80::BAD7:AFFF:FE28:B672 in the lwip build)
Should I be able to ping this address from a Windows PC on the same LAN? Ping returns Destination host unreachable. The PC is able to ping the module's IPv4 address.
Do I need to run a DHCPv6 server on my LAN to provide an address? It does not look like my Netgear has a built in DHCPv6, are there any PC based servers?
I am running WICED 6.1 with a CYW43907.
Show LessHi,
The PSoC 6 WiFi-BT Pioneer Kit is listed as supported in the latest Wiced toolchain.
What peripherals are supported?
I'm mainly looking for USB CDC
Thanks David
Show LessWe are embedding a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ in a commercial product and need to acquire wireless certifications for our application beyond what has already been done by the foundation itself. In order to do this we need a low-level radio control tool that allowslow-level control of the radio (e.g. turn on/off each radio, set the transmit channel, set the modulation mode, etc). What tool should we use for this?
Show LessCan someone give me a run down on how to program the CYW43907 populated on a custom board? We will be sending out boards for fab shortly and want to verify that we are not missing anything.
We will have the JTAG/SWO port brought out to a header and I plan on using a JLINK. Does the jlink program internal SRAM in the chip or is it programming the external flash? If it programs the internal SRAM, how do I upload a image to the external flash?
I have looked at other resources like Downloading and debugging CYW43907 using Jlink Segger but it is not clear if it is for development (SRAM) or writing to flash.
To begin with I will need to be able to debug apps and program prototype boards based on the custom PCBA. This will eventually lead to figuring out how to program the custom PCBA in manufacturing.
