trying to connect using Enterprise EAP-TLS. Works for TLSv1.0 and TLSv1.1. TLSv1.2 appears to complete the handshake, then receives the following event WLC_E_DEAUTH_IND and starts the connection again:
wiced_join_events_handler: event_type=0x2e status=0x105 reason=0x20e wiced_join_status=0x16
wiced_join_events_handler: Waiting Key Exchange
wwd_wifi_check_join_status: wiced_join_status=0x16
wiced_join_events_handler: event_type=0x6 status=0x0 reason=0xf wiced_join_status=0x16
wwd_wifi_check_join_status: wiced_join_status=0x14
wiced_join_events_handler: event_type=0x3 status=0x0 reason=0x0 wiced_join_status=0x14
wwd_wifi_check_join_status: wiced_join_status=0x16
wiced_join_events_handler: event_type=0x10 status=0x0 reason=0x0 wiced_join_status=0x16
Any reason why it is receiving error event after completing the handshake?
I have included logs for both TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2

Leif
Show LessHi,
We just started working on CYW43438 .
Is there any API interface in WICED SDK ,for which python script can be written to test wifi.

Show LessAs a follow on to this thread that has become stale: Re: MCU powersave issues
I don't get user_114741021 point. It's nothing to do with ble powersave.
Did Cypress test the mcp_powersave.zip with freeRTOS build?
BTW, I tried the changes he mentioned, it does not help.
I got output like below:

Can someone on the applications team definitively confirm if MCU Powersave works?
Show LessI am trying to build an OTA2 image with SDK/Studio 6.2 and it is failing. In 6.1, it works.

I made sure the extraction mini app was build and I tried a clean and rebuild.
Show LessHello,
I would like to know if a behavior that I observe concerning the memory is normal or not:
I made a reading of the available size of my memory before and after the call of the function
extern wiced_result_t wiced_dct_read_lock( void** info_ptr, wiced_bool_t ptr_is_writable, dct_section_t section, uint32_t offset, uint32_t size );
In the first case I observe this result :
Before function | --- |
---|---|
sbrk heap size: | 91960 |
sbrk current free: | 49144 |
malloc allocated: | 33880 |
malloc free: | 8936 |
TOTAL Free Memory | 58080 |
After function | --- |
---|---|
sbrk heap size: | 91960 |
sbrk current free: | 49144 |
malloc allocated: | 33880 |
malloc free: | 8936 |
TOTAL Free Memory | 58080 |
Nothing abnormal in this case.
However, if I have less memory in maloc free before calling the function, the memory is taken in sbrk current free and then free in malloc free.
as shown in the following example:
Before function | --- |
---|---|
sbrk heap size: | 91960 |
sbrk current free: | 73720 |
malloc allocated: | 17376 |
malloc free: | 864 |
TOTAL Free Memory | 74584 |
After function | --- |
---|---|
sbrk heap size: | 91960 |
sbrk current free: | 69624 |
malloc allocated: | 17376 |
malloc free: | 4960 |
TOTAL Free Memory | 74584 |
Is it normal or not ?
Show LessHi,
As like HCI Command to test Bluetooth RF parameters, is their way to test WLAN RF testing by using the WICED or any other method ?
Can you suggest any Evaluation board part no?
Thanks
Show LessI have below two questions, can you please reply
1) Is it possible to port only AWS IOT SDK (IoT part) in WICED (not TLS, Thread, Timer library of AWS IOT SDK) ?
If already it has been done for WICED, Can you please share details.
2) Can we able to subscribe for multiple topics using one MQTT object in WICED ? If possible how many maximum topics we can subscribe (for each subscribe we need to create different threads as per my understanding)?
Thanks ®ards

Show LessHi
I would like to create some entry specific to our application in DCT_APP_SECTION statically (not by programming, not using DCT APIS)
but before flashing the image. Initially this values will be flashed when we are going ship the product but this will change in future when application starts running.
For example in DCT_APP_SECTION offset 0x10 the value should be specified as 0x45 (statically in C file or somewhere not sure how to do). When application started running first time the expected value should be 0x45 in offset 0x10. But after application booted and done some test it will update the value (This is through using DCT APIs).
Can you please let me know where (which *.c file) and how (Which section of code and data structure) I have to mention in WICED code stack?
Thanks & regards
Sankha
Show LessIn ADC if i want to set vref 3.3 volt. Then should i set.
because we can set max vdda/4
We are using the following chipset (BCM43340) on our products and have been encountering a surge in wifi failures . I would like to to get in touch with someone in your application group to see that how could we can test for the signal strenghth of the wifi on our products.
I am wondering if there is any Software tool or Test Equipment that Broadcom recommends that could be used to test WIFI Signal Characteristics..
Thanks
