We are building a security product that will use a Raspberry PI 3 Model B+ board. That board uses the Cypress CYW43455 WiFi Module that is not WiFi Certified (per the WiFi Alliance's database). We would like our product to achieve WiFi Certification and I want to know what support (if any) Cypress may offer if we decide to put our product through the WiFi Certification process.
Thank you.
Show LessHi,
I've installed from scratch Wiced Studio 6.2 using an administrative account on a folder accesible to all users on Windows 10. All works as expected on this account, but when I switch to an user account, although I can execute the IDE, compilations fails showing the arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe compiler was unabled to create a file on the c:\windows folder.
It doesn't matter the value assigned to the environment variables tmp, tempdir or temp, compiler always try to use C:\windows.
Is there any workaround to run Wiced on a windows user account? Issue is very easy to reproduce just switching users.
Show LessI am using WICED-Studio-6.1 on CYW943907AEVAL1F platform.
We want to use RTS of UART0 (UART0_RTS_OUT:A53) as GPIO.
For example, please teach me how RTS is fixed to high during transmission in apps/snip/uart/uart.c .
Show LessHello all:
I am interested in using the external SFLASH memory on the 43907 eval kit as a large buffer space and staging area for a bunch of packets yet to be sent. The eval kit has plenty of extra space to accommodate, but how should I go about this as to not overwrite all the other stuff in the flash mem?
Show LessHi,
I am looking for a eval board for WiFi BLE combo CYW43455. Pls provide me the part number if available. I am looking to interface the WiFi chip to a STM platform.
Thanks,

Show LessOne of our client who is using CYW43907 based board, wishes to keep their firmware and
boot-loader in serial flash safe by placing them in encrypted. For this, we are planning to
use SECURE_BOOT and SECURE_SFLASH options. We have referred Application Note
AN214842. Finally we also need to use OTA2 also in secure mode.
Are these options widely used and proven already ?
Are we going to get enough support and information on this, if we get stuck ?
We are getting these doubts as we try to build 43xxx_Wi-Fi/tools/secureboot/aec_cbc_128 and
hmac_sha256 commands, they are not getting built with the makefile given.
Also when we use both SECURE_BOOT=1 and SECURE_SFLASH=1 options, simple scan application
itself failing.
In the above scenario, we wish to get some feed back on how easy or how safe to use these options.
How much info/help/support are we going to get?
Thanks,
Srini Karasala
Show LessHi
I wnat to confirm some questions about CYW943455EVB-02.
1, I heard that the CYW943455EVB-02 will be supported in an upcoming release of WICED Studio due out this quarter.
Can you tell me the exact time?
2, Can we evaluate a single CYW43455 module?
3, We want to measure the power consumption(CYW43455),
Could you tell me the method of measurement?
If it can not be measured directly on the board,
Could you tell me how to modify the board and measure it?
Thanks

Show LessHi, everybody!
I would ask you how to properly create a Makefile for the project with POSIX origins that we want to port on WICED platform.
First of all, I can see that the actual work to build the source is performed "under the hood" via general .mk makefiles within WICED platform SDK, so the only thing that you need to do is properly point your source to different places where all other needed parts are located.
But that's my problem.
Initially, the service that we're porting knows something about the WICED platform, cause there're some defines, like 'TARGET_PLATFORM_WICED', that control conditional compilation process. So I have created the directory inside '43xxx_Wi-Fi/libraries', created an .mk file with the same name, set the name for the service with 'NAME' variable and added a path to single C file which contains the main function and started to check what else will be needed.
Along the way, I have added other header files from our service that are included.
Everything was good until I needed to include 'wiced_security.h' header. It is located under '20706-A2_Bluetooth/include' directory (we use Wi-Fi/Bluetooth WICED platform combo). I have added a relative path to it, but after that, there are many "double definitions" of various macros and alike:
In file included from .../wiced_result.h:45:0,
...
./include/wiced_bluetooth_result.h:58:0: error: "BT_RESULT_LIST" redefined [-Werror]
#define BT_RESULT_LIST( prefix ) \
^
In file included from .../20706-A2_Bluetooth/include/wiced_result.h:26:0,
.../20706-A2_Bluetooth/include/wiced_bt_constants.h:43:0: note: this is the location of the previous definition
#define BT_RESULT_LIST( prefix ) \
^
So, my main question is how you deal with such problems? Are there some conventions to be used that I'm missing?
Thanks in advance for responses.
Show Lesssnip.websocket_client worked without TLS(comment the line #define USE_WEBSOCKET_SECURE_CLIENT.) however failed with TLS in SDK 6.2

Show LessHi
why it only showed “”WICED Filters OFF“” in WICED Platform when i installed it?
