Based on your resolution and debug prints, I can find that the frame size is proper and constant.
Please let me know if the same UART prints are seen for both working and failing cases. If not, then kindly share the debug logs for working and failing cases separately. If the debug logs for both the working and failing case shows the same frame size, then it means that the issue is from the image sensor side. This is because CX3 is just a bridge between image sensor and the host. It does not perform any modifications to the video data other than the addition of a UVC header.
For your question on the power conversion chip, is the working case also using the same power conversion chip as the failing case?

Can you please elaborate the issue so that we can understand it better?
Based on my understanding, you have a custom board in which CX3 is interfaced with an image sensor. Noise is seen on the video stream when you are not using a lens on the image sensor. But, when a lens is used, the noise is not seen. Please confirm if my understanding is correct or not.
If my understanding is correct, then please let me know if you used the same firmware for streaming the video data for both the cases (with and without lens on the image sensor). Also, kindly share the UART debug logs for both the cases.

I am sorry but I did not understood your previous replies properly.
Based on my understanding, the issue is seen with the same firmware. When the lens is added, you are able to get the image properly. When the lens is removed, you are seeing noise. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
Also, based on my understanding, you are using same hardware for testing. In this case, I did not understand the following question too:
"power convert use ams1117-3.3 ams1117-1.2 , is this cause?"
Kindly elaborate the issue so that we can understand it better.
Based on the UART debug logs, the data size is consistent. Kindly let me know the h-active, v-active and bits per pixel so that I can check if the frame size is proper or not.
