Hi,
I am using UVC code provided by Cypress and I can take an image with 640*512 camera in YUY2.
I am using an FPGA to get codes from I2C but no SCK and SDA signals generated by Cypress Device, although it is wrtten that 'BULK IN or BULK OUT process is
succesful' on Control Center.
Also, I sometimes get error 997 when I want to use USB_DEBUG_INTERFACE of UVC code.
In document AN75779 there is no clear explanation how I2C sends data to device which is not MT9M114.
Can anyone help me on this issue? Also, knowledge about SPI and UART with bulk communcation also will be very helpful for me.
Thanks.
Show LessHello,
I am debugging an I2C Implementation in hardware, with an OV5640 MIPI Camera.
My goal is to see whether the MIPI Camera responds to I2C communication from the CX3.
I know the default slave ID of the OV5640 camera, and the registers which I would like to inspect, namely device ID registers.
I have taken a look at the USBI2CRegMode and CX3UVCOV5640 code, and cannot locate any slave ID settings for the I2C bus in code.
Can anyone point me to documentation which discusses how to send and receive inputs from the I2C bus? I have only been able to find the CX3OV5640 API documentation, which only allows for initialization which returns a void, and UVC controls.
Thank you kindly.
Show LessHi:
I use the Code Example "USBBulkLoopAuto",and use the CyU3PDebugPrint api to add some debug message,
eventhough i have change the CY_U3P_IO_MATRIX_LPP_UART_ONLY to CY_U3P_IO_MATRIX_LPP_DEFAULT for CX3
but i also can't get the message output from the CX3 uart.
can you help me,thank you very much!
Show LessHi,
After programming the FX3 UsbUart example to the dev board, it enumerates as a USB to UART adapter (for the data class interface, I believe), however, it does not show up as a virtual com port (communication class interface). Therefore, I cannot get it to work for serial communication. Any suggestions?
Also, can anyone comment on possible bandwidth on the data interface with CDC-ACM? How long does an interface change takes?
Thanks,
Eyal
Show LessHi,
Just downloaded and installed the FX3_SDK v1.3.3 for windows 7 pc. The installation was successful but when importing and trying to the run the USBAudio example i am getting the following error.
**** Incremental Build of configuration Debug for project USBAudioClass ****
cs-make all
process_begin: CreateProcess(NULL, echo "Building file: ../cyfx_gcc_startup.S", ...) failed.
make (e=2): The system cannot find the file specified.
cs-make: *** [cyfx_gcc_startup.o] Error 2
I tried reinstalling the software but the same error still persists. So just want to know if anything is getting missed from my side .
Show LessI wonder how to specify a specific thread in FX3 firmware by using 'BeginDataXfer()' in order to send/receive data.
I've prepared three threads in FX3 GPIF-II, thread 0 for USB-to-FX3, thread 1 for USB-to-FX3, and thread 2 for FX3-to-USB.
So that I need to set one of thread 0 or thread 1 to send data to FX3.
The CyAPI manual seems a bit primitive so it is hard to figure out how to do.
Are there any example code for FX3 firmware and CyAPI Application to do the above transfer?
Or, are there any document regarding this?
Thanks in advance.
Ando.
Show LessHi,
I have the e-Con Denebola kit, with CX3 interface. I have followed the documentation to bluid and program a project into the board. Now I want to debug it. I do not have a Segger J-Link or a CY7C65215 USB serial device as recommended in the "EZ-USB Suite User Guide" (EZUsbSuite_UG.pdf), version 1.3.3, section 3.
Is there a way to debug my program through USB? I also have a MiniProg3, can I use that to debug through JTAG pins?
Thanks in advance,
Andrés
