I just got the cy4609 board.
I am connecting it to window 10.
I can see the board in device manager but not in the HX3 Blaster Plus.
The manual tells me to load the usbhx3 vendor driver, but i can't find it.
Does anybody have a solution or explanation?
Thanks,
Gonen Ravid

Hi Gonen,
Please follow section 3.3.2 in the HX3 Blaster Plus User Guide: https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/blaster-plus-configuration-utility
To run the HX3 Blaster Plus tool, the default Windows hub class driver that is automatically bound to the USB 2.0 interface of the HX3-based hardware needs to be unbound, and the CYUSBHX3 vendor driver needs to be bound. The steps to bind the driver are present in the guide.

Hi,
Could you please let us know if you followed the steps as explained in the HX3 Blaster Plus Guide?
Specifically, please look at Step 7 & 8.

I have followed the steps, but the windows screens are not the same. I believe that the manual is for Win 7and I am using Win 10 Home edition.
I can try Enterprise version if you think it can help.
I selected the driver from c:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\HX# Bluster Plus\Driver\Win81\x86\CyUSBHx3 (dated 3-25-14)
It shows that it is certified.
When windows try to install it it complains that it has known problems.
Attached are some screen shoots.
Did I missed anything?

Hi Gonen,
Apologies for the delay in response.
I tried for Win 10 Enterprise edition and faced no issues.
Could you please repeat the whole process as explained in the HX3 Blaster Plus Guide with the attached driver and check?
Regards,
Mallika
