USB low-full-high speed peripherals Forum Discussions
Hello!
I am very new in this topic. I wrote a code that use FIFO slave auto in mode and it will get data from FPGA. The FPGA code is not ready yet, however I want to test the transfer. Can CPU provide data for slave fifo in auto in mode? OR is any solution to test this? I attached my code.
Thanks,
Show LessHello!
I write a firmware that communicate with Android through EP1. Somehow the firmware cannot receive the data, EP1OUTBC is always 0. Firmware to Andorid works well, all 64 bytes are received in the Android side. Iam very new in this topic. Someone have any idea what is the problem, or where my code is wrong? My firmware code is attached.
thanks.
Hi,
I'm running into an issue with the cyusbserial USB Serial API. Specifically the CyI2cWrite function using an CY7C65211 USB to Serial bridge on the CYUSB234 DVK. I need to be able to see if a device is present at a certain address at the start of my application. I'm sending an address + 1 data byte in order to determine if a device is present at that address (although I doubt the data byte is necessary). If the Address gets NAKed, the device is not there. According to documentation, CyI2cWrite should return a status of CY_ERROR_I2C_NAK_ERROR in this case, but what I'm seeing is that regardless of the NAK, CyI2cWrite is returning CY_SUCCESS.
The transmission looks as follows:
Nothing too exciting going on with the transmission itself, no device is present at that address, but my CyI2cWrite call is returning CY_SUCCESS on this transmission. It also doesn't seem to be waiting long enough for the timeout, which I have set to 5 seconds in this CyI2cWrite call. If I'm not mistaken, shouldn't it wait on that NAK for the timeout period then return CY_ERROR_I2C_NAK_ERROR?
Any thoughts/suggestions would are appreciated.
Thanks,
- Kyle

Show LessHello,
Can you provide a document describing USB I/O DC specification of CY8C65213A?
Customers are developing board using CY8C65213A and they need to disclose the specifications of the external ports of their products.

Show LessHi, I just installed Keil uVision 2 from CY3684Setup.exe. I get error "ERROR L250: CODE SIZE LIMIT IN RESTRICTED VERSION EXCEEDED" when I try to recompile an old fx2 project.
I found some Keil web pages addressing this, but none seemed to be my problem:
BL51: FATAL ERROR 250 (CODE SIZE LIMIT...)
http://www.keil.com/support/docs/1271.htm
I have what looks to be a valid uVision version, and am compiling for EZ-USB-FX2 (CY7C68xxx).
Thanks for any help.
Show LessA temperature-humidity sensor is connected by I2C master setting and a temperature-humidity sensor isn't sometimes seen by power supply on. The frequency of occurrence will be about 1/100 times. When occurring, a device isn't seen from a device manager of Windows. Even re-scan of H/W isn't restored. It's restored by power supply off on.
Show LessUsing CY8KIT-049-4200 for music application. -049 has a CY7C65211 USB-UART bridge chip. The USB SDK appears to only provide standard baud rate configurations. For music application, MIDI standard is 31250bps.
Can CY7C65211 be configured for 31250bps?
Show LessHello,I have some problems about CY7C68013A.I have a project that must connect to FPGA and Linux with cy7c68013a.It was very successful when it came out from Linux, but have problem when back.More pages related to LINUX have been marked as obsoleted.I don't know how to let it actively receiving signals from FPGA. Which part I need to modify , I only hope that it can send and receive correctly.
On the FPGA, I use the AN61345 example. On Linux, I use libusb and old FX2LP kit.(maybe?the page is disappear
Is there any expert who can help?
I am not too familiar with LINUX.
Show LessHello,
I would like to enable Trigger On option in my application to read some data .Trigger input is connected to the PA0 of CY7c68013A for TriggerOn detection .Host application send the vendor command when trigger is enabled in the software and 68013a wait until trigger becomes on.I tried with InterruptInEndPt xferdata function to read the data from the 68013a when trigger is enabled ,Fx2 sends data to Host application only when trigger is detected on PA0 .So fx2 takes some delay depend upon the trigger enable .The xferdata function waits for some timeout if transfer not completes successfully which is unnecessary in my application. please tell me about any event handler or some thing like that to detect the USB command from the 68013a.
