Hello,
When RS485 is enabled in CY7C65213A, according to the timing chart of the data sheet, the TXDEN signal seems to be active low (low at transmitting).
However, most RS485 level shifter ICs appear to require active high (High when transmitting) logic for the RE # and DE signals.
Do I need an inverter IC to connect these ICs?
Or is there a setting to invert the signal output of CY7C65123A?
Regards,
Shimamura

Good question.
Unfortunately, the TXDEN signal is active low, you need to use an inverter to make it active high.
(Updated) It is a mistake of Cypress datasheet. TXDEN signal is active high. We will consider to update the datasheet.
