We use the CY7C65640A-LTXC on multiple boards and I appreciate that it has been obsolete for some time now.

We have managed to source this part through various sources & avoid the need to update our PCBs until now.

There is no direct replacement listed but the CY7C65630-56LTXC appears to have the same pinout & functionality.

Can the CY7C65630-56LTXC be used as a direct pin for pin replacement?

Where are the Windows Driver files for HX2?

HX2LP Reference Design Kit User Guide, section 2.4, explains how to load Windows drivers from a disk. Is there an online version of the driver files that can be downloaded?

I use the CYUSB3304-68LTXI HUB USB in a project. I just need the HUB fonction and I don't need the power control modes. You can find the schematic attached at this post.

Note : all the decoupling capacitors isn't represented in this schematic.

Can VBUSPOWER be directly connected to VCC (3.3V)?

I want to build in HX2LP inside the Host PC. Therefore, there is no VBUS on the system.

I have one question regarding the crystal placement.

Can someone please check our current crystal placement? Is it advisable to place the load capacitors near to the crystal pins or near to the IC? Kindly review the screenshot for our current placement and advise.

Also as per Infineon checklist, it is recommended to use crystal having drive current of around 600uW but in 4-SMD package we are not able to find the desired part. We are only able to get maximum of 300uW, so we added a series resistor for current limiting. Is it a right way? Also which one is better to use with this IC, Crystal or Oscillator?

I'm using CY7C65620 ic for USB hub design. Currently, I'm facing an issue with a driver update. I've tried to use the hx2 blaster software for the driver update, I guess this software has the drivers only for Windows XP and 7. So I need support for the same.

I did a Hub Test on CY4608 using USB3CV. It is failed on all downstream ports in "Global Suspend and Unacknowledged Connect Remote Wakeup" test.

Is this normal behavior? If there is a problem, is there a workaround?

Is it possible to configure the EEPROM attached to CYUSB3314 over USB interface from an embedded processor in custom hardware? I am unable to find this information. 

My intention is to have the hub configured in I2C master mode to read configuration from EEPROM. The Upstream USB port will be connected to an embedded processor (NXP iMX8). I would like to update EEPROM contents over this USB interface. How would I go about doing this?
