Is it possible to use an crystal oscillator instead of crystal unit as the clock input for the HX3?
If it is possible, my understanding is that the oscillator is connected to XTL_IN and XTL_OUT is unconnected. Is it correct? And should I use a 1.2V oscillator?
Thanks,
Tetsuo

Hi Tetsuo,
Yes, your understanding is correct. You may use a 1.2V oscillator and leave XTL_OUT open.

Mallika
