USB low-full-high speed peripherals Forum Discussions
Hi,
I want to take advantage of USB 3 power that is near 7W. But my design contain Fx2LP. So is it posssible to connect Fx2lp wit usb 3 receptacles? I am ok with speed limited to 480 Mbps as per USB2.0 specifications.
Show LessHi,chip is CY7C68013A,The configuration is shown in the figure.
when the other USB ports plug and unplug the U disk, this device’s EP6 endpoint will be deadlock,but other endpoints are functioning normally.Then just Reset Pipe EP6 on Control Center and the device will work normally.
Can you tell me what’s wrong? Thanks.
Show LessHi,
Here are the requirements that I need to fulfill:
1. Use one port as UART;
2. Use another port as GPIOs, I need 6 GPIOs;
3. The UART and GPIOs function work at the same time.
Does CY2C65215 meet my requirements?
Thanks,
Wujun
Show LessDue to the termination of deliveries of memory of K9K8G08U0D decided to replace this memory with memory of K9K8G08U0F with the built-in support of ECC. Comparison of datasheet on these chips showed that there are differences in time response characteristics. Prompt whether support of these chips is planned and also whether it is possible as that to correct a firmware for work with this flash-memory.
Show LessHi Community,
I am using Fx2LP CY7C68013A.
According to AN15456_Guide_to_a_Successful_EZ-USB_FX2LP_Hardware_Design :
Resonator Requirements
The FX2LP crystal requirements are as follows:
▪ 24 MHz
▪ Parallel resonant
▪ Fundamental mode
▪ 500-μW drive level
▪ 12-pF (5 percent tolerance) load capacitor
Cypress specifies resonator frequency tolerance as ±100 ppm to take into account other circuit factors that can add to the USB ±500-ppm tolerance budget such as circuit board layout, temperature, load capacitors, and crystal aging. One resonator manufacturer, Murata, offers CERALOCK® series resonators with initial accuracies of 70 ppm and 100 ppm. For FX2LP, a Murata part number may be encoded according to Table 2.
I have tried to find crystal for all the above listed requirements but there is no available parts which can satisfy ALL the above specifications .
So can anyone suggest crystal oscillator os some specs that can be overlooked?
Also I have gone through : Re: Finding an appropriate crystal for CY7C68013A (FX2LP)
according to that part ECS-240-20-4 can be used but its also obsolete.
Show LessDear Cypress Community,
We have a customized board using CY68013, which is the same as the schematic of FX2LP.
We program the bulkloop example (bulkloop.iic) into the eeprom of FX2LP using cyconsole.exe, and we found that the usb failed to enumerate, and if I open cyconsole.exe again, tries to rewrite the EEPROM, it reports an error says that access vioalation. Later on, we found that, the bulkloop example contains
EZUSB_WriteI2C();
EZUSB_WaitForEEPROMWrite();
command (see: Why Certain EZ-USB® FX2LP™ DVK Firmware Examples Fail Enumeration on Custom Boards? – KBA86725 )
The problem is, this bulkloop.iic with WriteI2C and WaitForEEPROMWrite has been already programmed into the EEPROM. How could I reset, or clear, or reprogram the eeprom and bring the I2C function (i.e., write into EEPROM using cyconsole.exe) back?
Thanks!

Show LessI am currently looking for the current signed driver for the CY7C68013A-128AXC to include with our software installer. The current EZ-USB FX3 SDK shows version 1.2.3.20 where as there is a windows update for at least the x64 version to 1.2.3.26. We are experiencing at intermittent times when the device will disconnect itself from the software which requires our software to have to be restarted and the device re-enumerated and would like to verify we have the current version driver to rule out any driver issues.
Show LessHello,
We are working on FX2LP interfaced with image sensor when we transfer data from FX2LP to PC using Controlcenter the data is not coming consistently (i.e., data loss ) What is the reason for shifting of data in Windows 10 , even after updating drivers to windows 10(64 bit)
Thanks & Regards,
Veerendra
