Hi,

We developted FPGA based emulator. We will use probably a FX2LP18 to configure the FPGA (GPIF mode) and after configuration done, in SlaveFIFO mode to communicate with HOST PC (and exchange DATA between FPGA and PC).

Normally, the HOST PC is the master, it asks for getting DATA in the FPGA trough the FX2.

Is there any possibility to make the FPGA "master". I.e is the FPGA can inform by itself the FX2 that is has DATA to send ? (using the WAKEUP for instance or any FX2 PIN to manage an interrupt).

Hi, My name is Tomer and im working as a HW Engineer at ESL. few months ago i purchased from you IC 7C68013A 128TQFP CY7C68013A. I've made my board design based on the chip. now after the board is already manufactured im started the integration process. during the integration process the USBIC 7C68013A 128TQFP CY7C68013A  is not recognized by the PC. I’ve tried to use another COTS board with the same chip , and i saw that the PIN D+ is pulled high and the D- is pulled down and.  in my design both D+ and D- is pulled down. My question is : is there any first startup configuration should be done on the first use ? Best regards, tomer.

I am working on the FX2LP and I have a question regarding hex2bix utility.

How to convert files from the hex format to the bix or i2c format?. I tried all possible combinations but i was not able to generate .iic file. for this I referred https://www.cypress.com/file/134666/download  this pdf. (section 5.8 Utilities)

May I  know the CY3684_EZ-USB_FX2LP_DVK  firmware will support for CY7C68013A?

Please see the image below for CY3684_EZ-USB_FX2LP_DVK  firmware and I tried to load these  firmware with CY7C68013A using USB control center.

But it doesn't work for CY7C68013A.

I have another issue in USB control center .

If I load the firmware and it doesn't show the information  please the figure below. But programming succeeded.

The CY7C64215-28PVXI doesn't have the ECO pin.

Can the CY7C64215-28PVXI be used in -40°C ~ 85 °C without the ECO?

I have a CYUSBS234 DVK but I can't find a way to read I2C data with it.

1. I have a PCB that sends data via I2C, and I would like to plug SCL and SDA to the DVK, then I can read the received data on my computer from the USB port of the DVK I know ffrom.this page how to hook up the i2c lines to the DVK, but I have no idea what software I could use to read the I2C data.

2. I also wanted to use capsense tuner with a custom capsense board, using CYUSBS234 DVK to interface with this custom board with an I2C line. I have my capsense PCB with a psoc 4100S embedded on it, which has an I2C pin connector, so I could hook it up to the CYUSBS234 DVK. Then, I would like to be able to use capsense tuner to read the capsense data from my custom PCB, using the CYUSBS234 DVK. Is this possible? If not, how could I proceed to read the I2C data from my custom board (using CYUSBS234 DVK, or any other method)?
