There is a description of "Microsoft VC ++ 2008 SP1 run time redistributable" in Software Requirements of the SDK library. Houever, The redistributable packages for VS2005, 2008, 2010 cannot be used because Microsoft no longer supports them. Do you have any plans to remake it with redistributable packages after VS2015? Dear Sirs and Madams,

 

Specifically, we are considering a USB connection between the sensor and a personal computer by mounting a USB-UART bridge  chip on the sensor side.

If We use an Infineon USB serial device, is it okay to use it as is?

Do we have to get a PID / VID and use that ID?

 

Also, is it okay to use the Cypress driver as it is, as shown in the KBA91366 below?

Hello,

I am using an electroencephalogram (EEG) that uses a CyUSB.sys driver. I am looking to get the incoming EEG data into MATLAB. I have used the code below and am getting this error.  I  also do not know what to do even if this code worked, how to get data into MATLAB in real-time is even the bigger challenge I am facing.

Hi All !

I am trying to run serial port 1 on my cy7c68013a as this is my hardware requirement and I cannot shift it to serial port 0. I had successfully initialized serial port 0 and am able to use uart at 9600 baud rate.

Can anyone help me in configuring the uart at same baud rate on serial port 1.

For refernece I had attached my code along.

Hi,

I'm using th CYUSBS234 and modifing the examples of the SDK in order to activate and deactivate several GPIOS. I have seen that if the GPIO is configured as Tristate in the Serial Configuration Utility, the api function CySetGpioValue fails.

I haven't seen any function to configurate the GPIO as Drive 0 or Drive 1. So if I want to generate my own production aplication to move those GPIOS , previously I must use the Serial Configuration Utility to configure them as Drive 0/1, isn't it?

Anybody knows if the SDK library allows to configure the GPIOS as Drive0/1 instead of TRISTATE? Because the default configuration of CY7C6511 is Mode 0, with the uart with 6 pins, and all the GPIOS to TRISTATE, or TX/RX LEDs.

By the way, I haven neither seen any function in the sdk to change the uart type to 2 pins, it must be made through the Serial Configuration  Utility.

Am I missing something??

I am working with  the FX2lp / GPIF and go through the AN57322 (Interfacing SRAM with FX2LP over GPIF)

I wonder about the sequenze "within" a decision point / data action point.

- When will be the databus sampled, either for a read waveform or a write waveform within an IFCLK (rising / falling edge) ?

- When will be the control signals set within an IFCLK ( after/before sampling, rising / falling edge) ?

- When will be the RDY singals be sampled, either asynchrounous (SAS= 0) or synchronous(SAS = 1) within a IFCLK ?

- When will be the logical funtion within a DP finally be executed?

What is the "internal delay" between all the sampling and signal settings?

Getting a better understanding within one IFCLK period, can I assume that IFCLK will be a kind of "trippled" for the sampling, setting CTL signals and following logical functions.

Especially for FIFO waveforms (repeating decision points) this is difficult to understand.
