USB hosts hubs transceivers Forum Discussions
Hello,
i have design this pcb with the chip CY7C65634-28LTXC following this guide from this post CY7C65634 circuit check .
My problem is that the hub is not detected when i connect this to a pc. The crystal oscillate for a short time (some ms) as the L1 led and after that i can't detect any signal on XTAL pins. I have tried to connect the TEST pin to GND but nothing change. It seems like it go in suspend mode.
Thanks
Show LessI use the CY7C68300C-56LTXC. Chapter "Poroper Power-Up Sequence" of the DS has the description of the Undifined state.
What does Undifined state operation? Is it stop operationg completely?
For example, Does it work but does ATA communication failure occur?
Show LessHi. I'm using the CYUSB3304 hub and two CP2102N usb to serial ICs. On a couple of the boards, i'm observing an error in Device manager "Unknown USB Device (Device descriptor request failed). Everything works properly, the two microcontrollers connected to the usb to serial devices are responding just fine. I'm not sure if it's the HUB or the USB to serial giving the error... Any idea on what is happening?

Show LessHi. I'm using the CYUSB3304 hub and two CP2102N usb to serial ICs. These USB to serial devices are going to 2 different microcontrollers. Is it guaranteed that each USB to serial device will get the same COM port after plug-in and plug-out events? Meaning that if IC1 gets COM4 and IC2 gets COM5, next time I plug them in I get the same COM port assignment? I did a bit of testing, and the results seem to indicate so... But I'm wondering how? and is it guaranteed forever? Does the USB on DS1 get the first COM port and the USB on DS2 get the second COM port?
Note: I already enabled the IgnoreSerialNumber for the USB to Serial Devices.
Thank you.
Show LessHello,
Is there an internal resistance on xin pin of HX2 ?
If yes, which is pull-up or pull-down?
Please tell me the value of resistance in that case.
Also, when the HX2 is turn-off, is the voltage level of xin pin low(grounded)?
Best regards,
Takahashi

Could you please let us know IEC61000-4-2 spec(Contact Discharge and Air Discharge) of CY7C65632-28LTXC(HX2VL)?
Q2)
Is IEC61000-4-2 spec(Contact Discharge and Air Discharge) of CY7C65632-28LTXC(HX2VL) the same as CY7C65642-48AXCT(HX2VL_TetraHub)?

Show LessHello,
can i ask if my circuit is correctly design?
I had realize a cuircuit with the USB2502 chip from microchip and i had many problem with the crystal that didn't oscillate. So i ask you if you find some problem with this in my circuit or with some other chip? The board will be powered by the upstream board using the internal 3.3 LDO.
Thanks
Show LessHi
They are using CY7C65632, but it seems that the eye pattern opening on the DS port is narrower. Is ther any method to adjust the Eye pattern? or Tool?

Show LessHello,
I am looking for a mechanical drawing or CAD model of the CY4609 usb hub. My team is needs dimensions/locations of fastening locations, inputs, and outputs.
Thanks
Show LessHello
Description of "drive level 600 uW" of the 12 MHz crystal oscillator in the data sheet.
How should we interpret this value? Is there a basis for the description of "Drive Level: 600 uW" in the BOM list below?
>CRYSTAL 12.000 MHZ 20 PF 49 US (Drive Level: 600 uW, Tolerance: +/- 50 ppm) --- ECS-120-20-4 ----
