Hi. Infineon
In customer side, they use CYUSB3314-88LTXC to design in USB3.0 HUB with two ports DS0 and DS1, they find the PC's explorer can't appear the DS1 device when continuous plug and unplug USB3.0 U disk, the probability is about 2%. when the issue appear, they use DS0 ports, the DS0 is good. they have to software reset the HUB, the issue is disappear. Now, they want to read the hub registers issue status frist( include rest flag bit) to know the HUB got to which staus, I can't find any register description, How can I catch it whether do you like to share( whether I need build a mycase)
thanks

Dear Sir :
Used PSoC Creator 4.4 & EZ-PD CCGX DOCK SDK , change device item -> generate application have some errors.
Please help us to fix it , thanks.
Show LessHello,
We are facing some issues with the hub detection. We have used 2 CY7C65620 ICs in our system and connected the 2nd IC as a daisy chain with the first one(1st Downstream port of IC1 connected to the upstream port of IC2). The circuit works fine but sometimes the 2nd IC doesn't get detected by the system and we have to reset the board for the detection.
1. We have currently used the same reset circuitry with 100K pull-up with 0.1uf capacitor for both the ICs. Do we need to update it for the 2nd IC to increase the delay?
2. Do we need to pull up the OC3 and OC4 pull up to VCC? In the reference board, these pins are left floating
Also, I have one question regarding the inrush current. Currently, we are using the 120uf capacitor with an ESR value of 35mohm at the outputs. Can this cause an inrush current in the system?
Any other recommendation for this type of setup?
Thanks,
Show LessHello,
This question is related to the HX3 design discussed in this review.
The HX3 hub was manufactures as in the above mentioned design and it looks like it works ok, we use it to connect a USB camera module (AR0144) to the PC/Laptop. The camera module is USB 3 and has a micro-B USB connector, we use a micro-B USB to type-C cable to connect the camera module to the HX3 hub.
we have 2 types of micro-B to type C cable (see attached cable A and cable B), everything works good with cable A but when connecting the camera module to the HX3 hub using cable B we get a "USB device not recognized". we connected the camera module directly to the PC with cable B and it works good, we also tested the camera module with cable B connected to a commercial USB-3 hub and it also works good.
any ideas what can male cable B not work with the HX3?
thanks,
Show LessHi Infineon,
we're having big problems getting the parts CY7C65642-48AXC. We have already contacted the Infineon support, but they referred me to this forum. We have placed orders at Mouser, Digikey, Farnell, ... partly over one year ago, without success.
Do you know when the parts will be available again?
Kind regards,
Snorre
Show LessDoes HX2LP support USB OTG? At least downstream port? Thanks.
There is a fault with the USB drive detection in the following situation.
The design contains iMx6 which has an internal USB hub that communicates with the external USB hub (Cypress CY7C65631-56LTXCT). The latter external hub switches itself off without reporting any faults to the processor when the USB drive is plugged after the system booted. This fault is reproducible and only occurs when no device has been plugged into the port during system power on. This has been occurring on current and previous boards involving the same Cypress hub.
This fault has not occurred when the Cypress CY7C65631-56LTXCT was bypassed and USB lines were connected straight into the processor.
Is there anything specific that the processor needs to tell the hub that could prevent the hub from powering off? All logs report no errors so is there any way we could configure the hub to echo something back before the fault occurs?
