I´m trying to do an application for Linux to communicate with an Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA using the USB Serial bridge JTAG interface, but i don´t know how move the TAP and shift data only using the API´s functions cyJtagWrite() and cyJtagRead(). How this functions work, and how can i control the TMS and TDI signals?
