USB EZ-PD™ Type-C Forum Discussions
We have a CCG4 for a dual role port, on a battery device where we want it to be able to be powered from a powerbank.
Firmware is based on EZ-SDK 3.3.1.
Below you can see a dump from EZ-PD Analyzer Utility, where the image is from connecting the Powerbank to CCG4 device.
I have also attached the ccgx files. For the CCG4 and a Macbook Pro connecting to the powerbank.
So what is needing for making the CCG4 selecting the PDO object 3?
Attached you will also find the config we are running.
Thanks ahead

Show LessI can find the reference design here:
EZ-PD™ CCG2 USB Type-C to DisplayPort Cable Solution
but there are schematic only, where can I access how to use it, such like configuration, pin assignments and other functions.
May I use EZ-PD Configuration Utility to program ccg2 as type-c to DisplayPort controller, and what other tool can I use?
In EZ-PD Configuration Utility User Manual, use billboard device to program CCG2, so another question is that is billboard device necessary for normal usage, or enable when programming and error occurring.
我只能找到参考设计的原理图,请问从哪能获得其他使用信息;是否可以使用EZ-PD Configuration Utility配置CCG2;USB billboard是否是必要
Show LessIf this boards selector is set to 5 what is the maximum current that can be supplied at 20V is it currently restricted? The board comes with no resistor on R10 and looks like 10K ohms on R12 this does not seem to figure in the table on page 12 of the manual. If I wish to have 100W does R12 just need to be removed and what does (DNP) mean in this table? Thank for any help
Show LessHi,
We am looking for a solution where the USB OTG and charging should happen simultaneously. We have a device with USB A receptacle (Power and USB lines) which needs to be connected to phone through USB type C OTG. Currently we have a Type C to USB A adapter and is working fine, but the problem we face is when the phone battery drains we have to remove the OTG adapter and plug the charger.
We am looking for a ready solution (Without firmware or stock firmware) where the OTG and charging can happen simultaneously.
Please suggest us the suitable solution if you have.
Thanks,
Sreekanth
Show LessI see that Protocol Analyzer Utility shows the list of the packets.
I have the Notebook connected to Android phone using USB-C cable with CY4500 in between, how do I know if the given packet was sent by the phone or by the notebook?
