Hi
I am getting this fail message while trying to communicate with the host board of the CY4501 kit using the EZ-PD tool.
The communication with the client board works fine.

I saw an earlier post on this issue, but could not see a solution.

Can someone help?

Thanks

Hi,

The EZ-PD tool requires the CCG to have either USB bootloader, or, I2C bootloader and USB-Serial bridge providing USB to I2C conversion.

What is the controller on host board? Is it CYPD1105?

The host board is the one which is part of the CY4501 DVK.

The board # is CY4504 and the controller in it is CYPD1131-35FNXI.

Thanks

Hi,

Can you try flashing default firmware to the CCG over SWD?

Also make sure the USB-serial and CCG both are getting powered.

Please also check jumpers J4 and J11.

Can you try to read I2C communication and share the log?
