I am using the CYW20719B1KUMLG Bluetooth dual-mode chip. We were having issues getting the pin P16 to work as a simple GPIO. It turns out we aren’t able to change it to a GPIO. This is a huge issue as we need this pin the work as a GPIO. We need to know if this is a hardware issue or a software issue. I.e. is there no connection to a GPIO in the pinout or does the IDE have limitations on registers it can access so it can’t make P16 a simple GPIO.

Hi,
In power-up sequence,XRES should be asserted for more than 50ms after VDDIN is stable.
We need to know when the module can receive HCI command from releasing XRES pin.
<Question>
Could you tell me the maximum boot-up time from releasing XRES?
The customer needs it to decide time-out value for boot-up fail of the module in the Host CPU side.
Thank you.

Show Lessthis is my first time to use CYBT-343026 to develop bluetooth, i want to finish a function to transfer photos to bluetooth device , i don't know how to start the bluetooth develop, please help to provide the demo code to help me ,tks;
Show LessI am using CYBT-343026-EVAL with WICED 6.2 now.
I know recovery todo 1~5 like below.
1. Press and hold RECOVER button (SW2) |
2. Press and hold RESET button (SW1) for 1 second |
3. Release SW1 |
4. Release SW2 |
5. Re-program the board
I am wonder whether below items are deleted after recover.
1.The software that downloaded to CYBT-343026-EVAL.
2.The bd_address of paried device.shjlgoto-t_2353976user_140663973user_437857088axel.lin_1746341
Show LessHi.
I have a question about the BPF attached on the RF out line in CYW20707 chipset.
I know that the BPF is mandatory in system.
Is is possible to replace it with LPF ?
Because now the BPF was missed in our schematic.
But there are some places for matching value.
(Pi network and 1 series place)
So I want to compose LPF instead of BPF.
Of course, if there is any problem in low frequency area below 2.4 GHz, I think we should change the schematic.
Could you please advice on the issue ?
Show LessHi.
I'm a hardware RF engineer.
I'm now developing a sensor module using CYW20707 chipset.
There is a separated MCU in module. (STMicro MCU)
The flash memory is connected to the STMicro MCU. And the HCI of CYW20707 chipset is connected to the MCU.
In this case, I was able to use the mbt tool for RF test and see that the communication was done well.
But the TX power was output in unintended channel.
For example, I typed the command as below.
mbt set_tx_frequency_arm 1 2402 1 2 3
If so, the power should be output in 2402 MHz.
But the power was output in 2550 MHz... So it's very strange.
How can I solve this issue ?
Is it required to download any firmware ?
If you could answer my question, I'll appreciate.
Thanks. Have a good day !
Show LessI am using CY20706 moudle and I want to compile 2 demo apps in same build. I can compile each idividually and they are working as expected.
I need to have a common build for them. Please suggest on how to achieve it.
Show LessHELLO, I am making a BLE MODULE using CYW20735PB1KMZ1GT.
I have 2 questions.
First, What does 'tie' do?
I think it's to do with the MIC, right?
(Notice the red box on the attached photo.)
2nd, I don't use the MIC. So, Do not need to use the tie?
Thank you for your time and prompt response.
