Hi everyone,

as this is my first post, I hope I selected the right channel.

I'm writing a driver for .NET applications using EZ Serial binary commands.

The system_query_firmware_version (/QFV, ID=2/6) command returned me, that I'm using API Version 1.3

Now in text mode when I'm sending "GDN" I will get the response with the expected result.

However, the binary command for Get device name returns me an error event that refers to ProtocolInvalidCommandLength.

But the actual outgoing bytes are "C0 00 04 10 6d" hexadecimal. Which is exactly what it is also printed in the example inside the  user guide (page 18)

What am I doing wrong? Is there an update on the documentation?

It feels like the documentation does not fit the firmware.

I want test the Accept/End incoming call/ongoing call with CYBT_343026_EVAL , I use headset sample in WICED-Studio-6.4.

I  Uncomment the C_FLAGS += -DSTANDALONE_HEADSET_APP flag in makefile.mk and  program the board from WICED SDK using Make Target:  demo.audio.headset-CYBT_343026_EVAL BT_DEVICE_ADDRESS=random download UART=COM11. 

Then I use ClientControl, select HCI COM port, Baudrate as 115200 and click on Open port,  the Client Control app: the serial port is open, but options/buttons don't become availablebut. No device discoverable through a bluetooth scanner. Could you help me to check it?  Thank you in advance!

We have a custom board in which we are using CYW920719B1 device. We have an I2C device on it, and an SPI NAND Micron memory on it.

While configuring the pins, I noticed that the preassigned configuration shows the following in SuperMux.wsm file:

On our board, we have 'wired' WICED_P29 to the SCL, and WICED_P0 to the SDA ports of our I2C device. So, will the following customization for our board work, or cause a problem?

We are using Wiced Studio 6.4.

I have a CYW92079B1 device on my custom board. The only outside interface connections I have on this board are the HCI UART and the PUART. I am using Wiced Studio 6.2.1.2 to download my code, which runs fine. I see the printf statements coming out on the COM console. I use the CYW920719Q40EVB_01 eval board as a ‘passthrough’ for PC USB to UARTs on my custom board. This allows me to download and run the code, and see the print statements on PuTTY console that is mapped to ‘WICED Peripheral UART’ as seen in Windows Device Manager.

But I want to be able to put breakpoint in my source code as the code runs. I want to be able to use Segger JLINK. I have got the Segger Jlink hooked to PC via USB. The 20 pin male connector has the following pins.

Using the SuperMuxConfig tool, I create the <app>_pin_config.c file, and then replace the PUART specific pins to Serial Wire debug i/o and clock as shown in the table below.

Then I connect Pin 7 from the SEGGER Pinout, as shown in Figure 1 above, to the RX, and the Pin 9 to the TX coming out from my PUART connection from my custom board. Of course, I connect the Ground from SEGGER, e.g., Pin 4 in Figure 1 above to the ground on my custom board.

My questions:

1. Is my connection above correctly done for hardware wiring to be able to debug? If not, then how should I do it?
2. What do I have to update in Wiced Studio 6.2.1.2 for my application project settings to enable breakpoints in code?
3. Do you already have a procedure/document available, that I can download, that explains how to debug by putting breakpoints in source code?

Hello,

   I have test the snip.bt.hci_handsfree sample in WICED-Studio-6.4.  I programed this sample  to CYBT-343026-02, which connected to an Audio DAC / Codec to reproduce the sound on a Loudspeaker / Headphones.

   But unfortunately,  When I use phone connect HFP device  and make a call using WICED client control, there is no voice on Loudspeaker / Headphones, could you help me to check this issue?  Thank you in advance.
