Show LessHello everyone. If i want to load application to Wiced Sense Tag for example hello sensor app, does the former app deletes or hello sensor app is written on former app? When i wanted to change app, do i need to do recovery process or deleting process(if available) or something like that? Also how can i see memory amount and that is empty or full?
Show LessI have received some pcb's which have BCM20737 mounted on them. How do I check if the ble chip is working or not? The board is drawing the correct current, but when I try to program the board (in Wiced Smart SDK) I get a 'download failed' response. Aside from replacing the chip is there another way to detect if a microcontroller is working?
Show LessHello vik86
you created a demo application on IoS to connect WICED sense to IBM watson https://community.broadcom.com/community/wiced-smart/wiced-smart-forums/blog/2016/03/28/ios-application-for-wiced-sense-to-connect-to-ibm-watson-iotquickstart?et=blogs.comment.created#comment-5024
i tried to compile your project with XCODE (7.3) and i got 3 errors.
- in ssl.h : expected identifier or '('
- in mosquitto_internal.h : unknown type name 'SSL'
- in mosquitto_internal.h :unknown type name 'SSL_CTX'
just by chance, did you already see this problem ?
i don't have experience with xcode it is my first trial so maybe i've something wrong.
thank you
Show LessHello,
We need to get our bcm20737 based product FCC certified. For that we need to achieve the following:
a) Lock Tx on a particular channel
b) Continuously transmit data on that locked channel (instead of bursts)
How can we achieve above on the WICED stack?

Subash
Show LessHi All,
I'd like to approach a new project to develop an end product based on BCM20736 chipset. The device would be battery operated with integral antenna.
What would be the necessary procedure to get conformance based on R&TTE 1999/05/EC directive and mark the device with CE logo?
Should I undergo the final product to a complete evaluation and testing based on EN 300 328 or there is some documentation on the BCM20736 which I can integrate to simplify the certification procedure?
Or being the BCM20736 compliant to some SIG profiles (based on BT 4.1 specification) will simplify the conformance assessment?
I suppose there would be anyway the need to get from SIG the ID declaration (and this will both require the fee payment and also to re-do testing and qualifications related to BT specs to get the SIG assessment and use the BT logo). Am I right? Could anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
Show LessFor FCC certification, if the change is class 1 (by the result of spurious emission test), no filing is required.
Is my understanding correct?
If yes, how should I display the FCC ID?
About CE, will Broadcom provide the test report of the module?
Regarding Japan, TELEC requires displaying certified mark on the module.
Displaying on final products using the module is prohibited.
Please tell me how I enable the module in Japan?
Show LessRF Exposure Analysis is needed for FCC compliance. This is often done by the manufacturer when they get modular approval, by doing a worst-case analysis that can be used by anyone using the module. Does Broadcom provide RF Exposure Analysis for BCM20737S? (or 736S, ...) Could you please point me to a copy?
Show LessWe integrate BCM20737S module in our monitor and we would like to seek FCC certificate for our monitor. The test lab needs to reassess the module per its FCC Grant Notes, so they want to measure RF power of module with antenna detached. However, antenna is connected to circuit ground and there is no RF output pin on the module. Could someone be kind to advise where and how we could measure RF output with antenna detached?
Show LessHI, I'm trying to get my product into Korea; according to the third party test lab it requires a certification for the radio. Has anyone
faced a similar challenge for Korea, and could share their experience with this process using this modular radio?
