Smart Bluetooth Forum Discussions
This is a follow up to the discussions here: Prototype boards are failing with issue similar to one previously reported & Prototype boards are failing with issue similar to one previously reported (con't)
We are experiencing a similar problem. 7 out of 70 boards stop advertising after 10 - 60 seconds (time maybe a little more).
We have checked the code with 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 and have run our code as well as the hello_sensor code and both stop advertising.
The crystal warm-up is also set to 5000ms.
How do I check for testing this reliably. I am currently testing WICED 2.2.3.
Using 2.2.1 as mention in the above to discussion does not solve the problem.
Show LessHi,
I see that the BLE_CEN_CFG struct has a member scan_filter_policy with flags HCIULP_SCAN_FILTER_POLICY_WHITE_LIST_(NOT_)USED. Is there a way to add and remove entries from the whitelist? I can't find anything in the headers or docs. Thanks.
Show LessHello Support team!
The PSoC or PRoC product supports smartcard mode(ISO7816) on UART.
When smartcard mode is used, TX/RX operates in single pin.
I hope to use RX/TX pin in single pin because of matching.
Does BCM20737 support smartcard mode like UART of PRoC/PSoC?
or Is it possible to change the RX/TX pin in single pin?

Iam new to this community, i want to know about documentaion of APIs for BCM20707. Does BCM20707 supports SPP profile. what alternate choices do i have for dual mode bluetooth MCUs(BR + EBR + BLE) other then BCM20707. is there any dual mode bluetooth development kit.
Show LessHi,
I keep getting this linker error whenever I attempt to divide two 64-bit integers:
undefined reference to `__aeabi_ldivmod'
I tried using INT64 instead, with the same result.
Code:
#ifndef _MY_TEST_H_
#define _MY_TEST_H_
long long my_test_divide(long long dividend, long long divisor)
{
return dividend / divisor;
}
#endif//_MY_TEST_H_
I found a similar question on the forum, but it was not answered. My WICED Smart SDK version is 2.2.3.

I develop ota demos on BCM20706 with smartready98 platform.After ota is finished,"wiced_firmware_upgrade_finish" is executed.
Does this function can force the chip restart?I need the the chip to reboot after ota is done.
Show LessHi
I'm trying to use your CybCKit 042 BLE with an IPad for test.
I have download the example code for ios http://www.cypress.com/file/225141/download
But I can not compile this code on my mac
The app is working on my IPad when I download it from teh sore but, I can not build it from the source.
How can I solve that ?
Show LessIs there any support yet for BLE audio, mentioned in the overview for BCM20736 and BCM20737? The last forum update I saw was from September 2014 and said that BLE audio would not be supported as part of SDK 2.2. Is it available today or are there plans to implement it, especially now that Bluetooth 5.0 has been released?
Show LessHi,
I have a couple of question regarding the maximum paring distance possible.
Please discuss the follow basic questions below.
1) Is there a way to increase paring distance by optimizing hello_sensor code, regardless of Hardware?
I have implemented a routine that sets up the Tx power as 4dBm using the "blecm_setTxPowerInADV( )" on "hello_sensor_create( )"
In addition to setting the parameter, CONST definition of the BLE_PROFILE_CFG in hello_sensor application,
I wonder if there is any way to increase the paring distance or to stabilize the paring sequence on that application.
2) The pairing distance possible varies with commercially available mobile OS type and applications.
What is major factor affecting the paring distance without hardware components such as build in antenna.
If you are a specialist in that part of BLE software, could you send us information about it?
* Development Environment
-BLE SOC: BCM20737S
-Development tool: WICED-Smart SDK2.2.3 IDE
