As a follow-on to this thread: Question about MTU size for very large characteristics
I'm sorry, I'm a little confused. Isn't LEATT_ATT_MTU == 23? How do you cram more bytes in there without a buffer overrun? Do you make your own BLEPROFILE_DB_PDU struct with more space and cast it?
Show LessHello,
I am going into production with my application, and we are using the 20732A chipset not module, so we have an external EEPROM - 24FC512.
When trying to flash the EEPROM before assembly onto the board, which is the correct hex file to use? I have tried both the -release files and also the bin file. These files that are created in the /build/application folder. None of these seem to correctly flash our application on the EEPROM. Am I doing something wrong?
Your help is much appreciated.
Cheers,
Paul
Show LessHi,
on the bcm20737 I just noted that when I call blecm_hciReset() in a link down callback the bt_clock_based_periodic_timer appears to stop working. While I can do without the hciReset() since it was just a leftover from some tinkering session, I'm wondering what else I have to avoid while using the bt clock based periodic timer.

Kilian
Show LessI read the following thread and BCM20737S SiP Module technical reference, but I couldn't find how much current each GPIO pin can output.
BCM20737S Bluetooth Low Energy SiP Module Technical Reference
Particularity, I want to know how much current P26, P27, P28 can output to control some full color LEDs with cathode common.
Furthermore, I would like to know how much current GPIOs of BCM20737S can output simultaneously, too.
Best Regards
Show LessI downloaded the 64 bit version of java jre but when I try to open the Wiced IDE on my personal laptop, it gives me an error saying that "Java was started but returned exit code= 13"
I have tried re-installing both java and the WICED IDE but this error message is still coming up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Show LessI'd like to use the P_UART peripheral on a 20736S module, with hardware flow control.
Unfortunately, the only RTS signal is provided by the P1 pin of the 20736 chip, but it is tied to the EEPROM WP pin !
Use P1 as RTS will probably lead to some issues on EEPROM management !
What would be the solution ?
Show LessIs the rechargeable circuit available on the BCM20736 module? There is interest in this part but I need to verify that you can use that circuitry on the module first.

Show LessHi All,
Datasheet of BCM20737s: not yet on community… draft is fine too.
Does BCM20737s support NFC READER or only TAG function?
Can SW of -32s be reused for -36s /-37s? question is targeting amount of work for sw porting to higher versions…
How much memory is free within -36s? with -32s was mentioned 30kB, but FW of 36s will use more memory, pls update.
Is it possible to strip used memory by BT-FW?
Thanks, Andi
Show LessI downloaded your sample program, "OTA_Android_Sample_NoSecure-2".
When i run this program, the error message comes.
Cannot start compilation: the output path is not specified for module "OTA_Android_Sample_NoSecure-2".
Specify the output path in Configure Project.
Why? And How can I solve the problem?
