The Infineon Developer Community is a resource for users, customers and partners to help them collaborate, share information and best practices for our products. This community is a global environment for the benefit of all registered members and is provided free of charge. Like most online communities we operate more efficiently and provide the most value when everyone understands and follows basic guidelines for online behavior. Please follow these guidelines when participating in the Infineon Developer Community.

Please remember...

Infineon reserves the right in its sole discretion, to:

  • Edit and/or remove any post, at any time, without notice, including posts containing or linking to material in violation of our Privacy Policy and  Terms and Conditions
  • Terminate, at any time, without notice, the membership of any user who violates the Terms of Use or these Usage Guidelines.
  • You may contact our Privacy Team any time for privacy related questions or concerns.

If you have any doubts about whether your post or link may violate these guidelines, please ask the Infineon Community Manager or a Moderator before posting.

How to get help

  • If you have a support related or urgent issue please reach out to your assigned support personnel for assistance. The Infineon Developer Community is not intended to replace the services provided by your support contract.
  • If you would like to post a question or information regarding a Infineon product or service, it should be posted to the corresponding forum in the Infineon Developer Community.
  • If you are unsure about a specific Community feature or function, or have feedback regarding the site itself, check the Community Information discussion forum.
  • Questions or concerns regarding actions taken by the staff should be directed to a Moderator, or Administrator via Private Message (PM) or e-mail
  • Infineon employee participants are identified in their profile and may use the Infineon logo.

Keep it relevant

For everyone's benefit please stay on topic. The Infineon Developer Community is specifically provided to allow users and customers of Infineon to help each other in using Infineon products and associated assistance from Infineon. Please refrain from discussing off-topic matters, abusing any company or product, or, in general, from posting in a manner unrelated to the resolution of issues regarding Infineon products and services.

Keep it courteous

Everyone wants to have a positive experience while the Infineon Developer Community – your use of this Community should not detract from any other user's experience. In particular, please refrain from posting anything defamatory, obscene, infringing or other unlawful material or information.

Your opinions are always welcome, but personal attacks and harassment ("flaming") of other members in either the Infineon Developer Community public areas or through Private Messaging (PM) is not acceptable.

Keep it clear

Please communicate clearly so everyone may understand. Avoid using slang, "net speak" or any other wording which might be difficult for all users to understand.  We are a diverse community and seek to provide a comfortable environment where you can easily get help from other users. We ask that you post resources and discussion topics in English language so the majority of members can read and respond. We also offer alternate language groups to foster interaction in your local language. If you need help locating an alternate language group please email the Infineon Developer Community Manager. Where Infineon has provided you with a translation of the English language version of information on Infineon´s websites, you agree that the translation is provided for your convenience only and that the applicable English language versions will govern your relationship with Infineon. If there is any contradiction between the English language version of the information on Infineon´s websites and the translation, the English language version will take precedence.

Keep it spam-free

The Infineon Developer Community is provided as a service to Infineon users and customers and is not intended for the promotion of yours or other third-party services, products, websites, or organizations. Posting content that would constitute advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of solicitation will not be tolerated.

If you do share or promote your materials or products, please be sure referencing them is directly relevant to the topic at hand.  Please only share or promote materials which you own or have the rights to distribute, and which you provide free of charge in entirety on the Infineon Developer Community. Documents, links and downloads referencing content owned by other entities, linking to an external site requiring payment or personal information will be deleted.

By joining the Infineon Developer Community, you agree to comply with applicable antitrust laws and regulations. You shall not share, exchange, or otherwise disclose information which is considered competitively sensitive under antitrust law. Competitively sensitive information includes, but is not limited to, information about prices, pricing policies (e.g., rebates, discounts, incentives), capacities and allocation, technical information about Infineon products which is confidential.

Community moderators

The Infineon Developer Community moderation is staffed entirely by Infineon employees. Infineon may designate certain non-employee members as a guest blogger or feature them as a valued member in the Infineon Developer Community.  This designation does not create an employee or agency relationship between Infineon and this member, nor does it make this member a company spokesperson.  Instead, the designation allows the Infineon Developer Community to know which members have been helpful, have provided constructive advice and have set a positive example and tone for the community.  Like any information posted on the Community, the opinions and advice provided by these members are their own and are subject to these guidelines.

Infineon branding, logo and image usage

name, logo and imagery are protected by intellectual property laws and not intended to be used by non-employees.  Members are not permitted to use Infineon's intellectual property in profile names, images, descriptions, any postings or otherwise in the Infineon Developer Community.
