PSoC™ Creator & Designer Forum Discussions
PSoC Creator 4.3 (4.3.0.1445) continues to close unexpectedly. I am also running Atmel Studio 7.0.2397. win 10 Version 1903 x64.
This is a very annoying problem as the project has the two processors communicating with each other and i need to have both IDE's open at same time.
Show LessPurchased PSoC 6 WiFi-BT Pioneer Kit CY8CKIT-062-WiFi-BT. Downloaded complete kit CY8CKIT062WiFiBTSetup_RevSS.exe. Fully installed as administrator. I am trying to register and it wont let me. What am doing wrong?
I requests email and password. Which I assume is the email and password I logged in to the community with.
I rejects it.
What am I doing wrong?
Show LessWith PSoC Creator 4.3 the file changed detection is not longer working reliable.
Most times it does not recognize when I change a file outside with another editor.
That leads to problems of course, sometimes to loss of all changes.
I am working under Windows 10 64 Bit.
It worked better with 4.2.
Show LessHi All
I have the UART to Ble central code running on a CY5677 dongle along with the UART to Ble peripheral code on a CY8C4248LQI-BL583.
I have a 2 CoolTerm windows on my PC, one connected to the CY5677 dongle and the other connected to the CY8C4248LQI-BL583. module.
When I type in the dongle window I see the characters in the module window , and vice versa.
HOWEVER
When I uncomment
#define LOW_POWER_MODE
in the peripheral code main.h and rebuild, I only see traffic in the dongle to module direction.
I cannot see any traffic in the module to dongle (peripheral to central) direction.
Does any body know why ?
Tim
Show LessHello,
In my project when i right click to function and try to go to its definition, it does not go there..
As i have included the required .h file and there is 0 error and 0 warning is the compilation result
For other functions its working fine but does not work with one file where i have define all functions.
I am using psoc 4.3
below message comes as result in my output window
We were unable to find the symbol 'SdcFile_OpenFile. There are several things that can hinder symbol lookup:
- Make sure your project compiles without errors.
- Make sure your "Generated Source" has been generated (Build -> Generate Application).
- Make sure your .c files #include their corresponding header files.
Can any one please tell the root cause for this.
Thanks in advance!

Show LessI am working on an issue with a Cypress Keypad of yours and integration with ADDs Energy systems. the issue is that when a new credit card needs to be entered from the keypad to the integrated software of ADDs Energy, it displays the error "invalid KSID REFID:2449915282" I checked the driver of the keypad on one that works fine and one that doesn't work and the difference is the driver version. the most recent one 1.2.1.24 driver does not work on a windows 10 environment and the one that works is an older version 1.2.1.20 on the same windows 10 environment. how can I get the older driver so I can test on the computer that doesn't work.
Show Lesswhy can you not copy from the output window, normal Windows copy has no effect and there is no right mouse click options, why?
why is there no option to download or output the data in this window?
and why is there no option for word wrap in this window, the strings get silly long

Show LessHi,
I am trying to debug a SPI problem in PSoC Creator (V4.3) on a PSoC 6 device. My design contains some Control Register components, A PWM component, a SPI component, and an I2C component.
When I hit a breakpoint, and use the menu option Debug/Windows/Components, I get the "Select Component Instance Debug Windows" dialog, but it only shows the Control Register components and not the PWM, SPI or I2C components.
Please tell me how to fix this.
Peter
Show LessI have two very similar, fairly large PSoC Creator projects (GCC). On one of the projects, build avoidance seems to be working (i.e. no code changes == don't rebuild all source files). The other project, however, rebuilds no matter what (e.g. "debug"). Is there a way to figure out what is causing this and possibly correct it without recreating the project from scratch?
Show LessHi All
Having a popup message displayed when formatting text on schematic pages or templates, please see attached.
Checked Creator 4.1 to 4.3, always displayed. Creator functionality is unaffected.
Just interested if this may be related to the local .NET 4.8 installation with Visual Studio?
Kind regards
Greg
