Hi
I'm starting with PSOC'S but I have a problem trying to use the DAC, it seems that the Designer doesn't find the DAC9.h file, I'm using the example from the datasheet just to test it out and i get this error when I try to build the project:
lib/psocconfig.asm
lib/psocconfigtbl.asm
./boot.asm
./main.c
!E C:\Users\Twister\DOCUME~1\PSOCDE~1.0PR\DIGITA~1\DIGITA~1\main.c(2): cannot include source file "DAC9.h"; file not found
C:\PROGRA~1\Cypress\Common\CYPRES~3\tools\make: *** [obj/main.o] Error 1
DigitalToAnalog - 2 error(s) 0 warning(s) 23:19:36
This is the Code I'm using
#include "m8c.h"
#include "DAC9.h"
#if DAC9_OFFSETBINARY
const INT iMAXVAL=510; // top of ramp
const INT iMINVAL=0; // bottom of ramp
#else
#if DAC9_TWOSCOMPLEMENT
const INT iMAXVAL=255; // top of ramp
const INT iMINVAL=-255; // bottom of ramp
#else
// DAC9_SIGNANDMAGNITUDE
#endif
#endif
void main(void)
{
INT iVal; // RAM for loop iteration variable
DAC9_Start(DAC9_FULLPOWER); // power up the DAC
if(DAC9_OFFSETBINARY)
{
while(1)
{
for(iVal=iMINVAL; iVal <= iMAXVAL; iVal++)
DAC9_WriteStall(iVal); // update DAC
}
}
else if(DAC9_TWOSCOMPLEMENT)
{
while(1)
{
for(iVal=iMINVAL; iVal <= iMAXVAL; iVal++)
{
DAC9_WriteStall(iVal); // update DAC
}
}
}
else
{
DAC9_Stop(); // power off DAC
}
}
I also tried to copy the DAC9.h file to the library directory in my projects folder but I just get more errors.
Could anybody help me?
Thank You! Show Less

i am trying to use a uart for a design, when its placed on the design. They are no interrupts vecotr generated in the interrupts tab of the design wide ressource.
But when i use the uart_exemple i get a UART_RXInternalInterrpt irq vector.
Only solution that i have found so far is to use the uart v1.0
is there any other way to use that interrupt with the uart v1.2?
thank you Show Less

Hi,
I am working with PSoC Designer 5.0 SP2, For clear all placements In PSoC Designer 5.0 they mention as follows
"If you want to clear all user module placements (i.e., remove them from their location on the PSoC blocks), click Config > Clear All Placements."
But i didn't find any Config or Clear All Placements options in PSoC Designer 5.0 SP2 , I presumed that the help document is not updated.
Is it correct? If so please send me latest help document or else please let me know where can i found those options.
Regards,
Trainee Show Less

Hello all,
I bought a kit with Cypress PSoC and got MiniProg CY3217 with it. I have Linux at home. How can I program PSoC with this MiniProg on Linux ?
I can even write some simple USB application to have it work, in case that nothing exists. Do you have some description of the protocol ?
Thank you in advance,

Hello,
I have a CY3269N Lighting Starter Demonstration Kit and I want to see the program which is implemented on the chip and to modify it. Therefore I need to know where could I find the program, if I can change it for particular applications and to reprogram it again. In fact I want to change the LED Controller to be actioned with some switches.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Support team,
My name is "Shaik", I am new to "Embedded Systems". I have confused with few components of "CY3210 MiniProg1 MiniEval1" so can you please clarify my doubts?
I have highlighted few components of "CY3210 MiniProg1 MiniEval1" with "red colored boxes" in the attached JPG file so can you describe me what actually they are? and what the purpose of those?
Thanks in advance.

QP-nano is an ultra-lightweight, open source, state machine framework and preemptive kernel for developing real-time embedded applications. QP-nano has been specifically designed to enable event-driven programming with concurrent hierarchical state machines (UML statecharts) on low-end 8- and 16-bit single-chip MCUs and DSPs. The framework is ideal for medical applications, as it offers excellent traceability from modern design to code.
QP-nano consists of a universal UML-compliant event processor (QEP-nano), a highly portable event-driven framework (QF-nano), and a tiny preemptive run-to-completion kernel (QK-nano) as well as a cooperative kernel.
The QP-nano framework can manage up to 8 concurrently executing hierarchical state machines and requires only 1-2KB of code (ROM) and just several bytes of RAM. This tiny footprint, especially in RAM, makes QP-nano ideal for PSoC applications. Please refer to the www.state-machine.com website for more information.
Complete QP-nano development kit for the Cypress PSoCEVAL1 evaluation kit is available for free download from www.state-machine.com/psoc.
