Is there an expected release date yet for PSoC Creator Beta 5?  I am specifically interested in the source code for creating a custom Bootloader-type project that is supposed to be included with Beta 5.  We need to be able to receive Bootloadable code via a WirelessUSB radio link and program it to Flash.  This means the Bootloader will need to include radio driver code as well as be able to program Flash without an externally connected I2C host. 

Is there anyone interested in a lighter version of PSoc Designer? A version which could work on a low performance machine.

Has anyone had biuld errors when using the CSD property module ans CSd buttons? I get a cant find the CSDpropertyConst file error.  I never had this issue with the previous version of Designer, so maybe some new bug.

Hallo everybody.

I'm new to Psoc so i'm starting with the latest tool, the Psoc Creator. After searching and searching the question remains: how is possible to integrate a simple IIR filter in my project using the DFB - DSP capabilities of the psoc3 (or psoc5) ?

in Psoc Creator only a FIR filter element is available  by now , (and seems not suitable for filtering out the 50 hz hum from  the adc output)

I know that a simple and effective filtering could be done writing a filter in C language and letting the MCU execute the task, but the MCU has something else to do, and is a perfect job for the DFB - DSP block, anyway.

So, can anybody suggest a way , and possibly were to find the relative documentation? I tougth that maybe was possible to take  some DSP code and create a new library component or maybe link some external code as a library but found no hints.

I noticed PSoC Creator gives an error when I disable the debug property at both the bootloader project and the main project.

ADD: pft.M0047: error: The 'Enable' property of the System DWR for the Bootloader and Loadable projects must match but don't. Bootloader ('Bootload01') has value 'False' and Loadable ('UMR01_T_01a35') has value 'True'.

This error is issued false because the Loadable (UMR01...) has the debug enable property set to false. I'll attach a screenshot. Funny thing is the project finally builds well 🙂

There are also problems with the debug port selection, setting them both to 'none' also gives an error.

Does PSoC Creator take the corresponding build configuration (debug/release) for the bootloader also, or does it always take the one in the 'debug' folder?

At last, it would be nice if the DWR settings would automatically switch when switching from 'debug' to 'release' and vice versa.

I do like the way these graphic editors look, but I don't think they are so easy to handle when it comes to zooming and panning throughout the pages - though they aren't really big.

As I am an Altium Designer user, I think it'd be quite handy to go about their solution, which is:

Zoom in : Ctrl + mouse wheel forward / keystroke(configurable)

Zoom out : Ctrl + mouse wheel backward / keystroke(configurable)

Pan left: Shift + mouse wheel forward / left arrow key (configurable) / 2D mouse wheel left

Pan right: Shift + mouse wheel backward / right arrow key (configurable) / 2D mouse wheel right

Pan up: mouse wheel forward / up arrow key (configurable)

Pan down: mouse wheel backward / down arrow key (configurable)

Dragging: Hold right button on the mouse and move the cursor.

With the help of mice equiped with configurable buttons, many people (including me) are getting used to navigating graphic GUI with only one hand. It'd make us a lot more efficient if such enhancement was introuduced. Thanks.
