Hi,
According to knowledge base, the timer_writeCounter() API has problems, was it fixed in the the latest release or we should still use the workaround?
Tks
Show LessAs I am a bit older now, I have to look more frequently into different files checking for declarations, names #defines etc.
In PSoC Creator is a worthy function: when right-clicking on a #include - directive the pop-up menu shows the option "Open Include File" which really saves a number of mouse-clicks, searching and sniffing for the requested file.
I'd like to see this function in Creator (2.1?)

Show LessIt's spring time in San Jose and Cypress will be a partner on the ARM Booth #1227 from March 27-29, 2012.
You will have the opportunity to talk to Cypress, check out a demo with Thermal management done in hardware while the CPU can take a nap and see how this can al be done in PSoC Creator.
I am looking forward to see you there, Robert

In PSoC Creator 2.0 it is possible to set a breakpoint that stops execution when a variable is accessed, read from or written to. The variable is given by its name and the debugger calculates its physical address (I presume).
When debugging a PSoC3 project I try to set a watchpoint to an address in xdata, but till now I failed with that.
Can anybody direct me how to set a watchpoint for a hex-address in xdata?

Show LessHi,
I'm trying to use the CY3218 CAPEXP1 kit with PSoC Designer 5.2 however when I create a new project I cannot see the kit in the catalog. I have found on the Cypress WEB site a (ThreeCapsenseButtons_config_through_flash.iic) file but I'm not sure how to use it, where to place it or if this is what will define this kit?
Anyone have any suggestions?

Show LessThe PSoC 3 and PSoC 5 hardware filtering engine can deliver fast, high order, high accuracy filters. The Digital Filter Block (DFB) works seamlessly with the on-chip DMA and Interrupt logic. More detailed information is provided in the DFB Data Sheet. You can configure digital filters on one or two data stream.
Please check our Filter Wizard Blog and our special site for Digital Filters too. Show LessHi,
I'm tring to build the sample code I downloaded from the Cypress WEB for the PSoC FirstTouch kit, when I build I get 2 x errors:
Starting MAKE...
creating project.mk
C:\PROGRA~2\Cypress\PSOCDE~1\5.2\Common\CY110F~1\tools\make: *** No rule to make target `lib/G9FLE9~Y.INC'. Stop.
C:\PROGRA~2\Cypress\PSOCDE~1\5.2\Common\CY110F~1\tools\make: *** No rule to make target `lib/G9FLE9~Y.INC', needed by `lib/obj/csd.o'. Stop.
MF_CS_SLIDE - 2 error(s) 0 warning(s) 22:08:29
I'm at a loss as to what the error exactly means? It appears a lib file is missing? Any suggestions?

dear all!
I have a CY8C001 kit. As per your suggestion i have downloaded PSOC creator version 2.0 and tried to build some example projects on it. As soon as the editor opens there is a warning statement that it failed to establish connection with external programmer. However the projects are built successfuly. But as soon as i try to program it through 'Program' option in menu there are no options seen of the device.I have cross checked that mini programmer is configured correctly as given in the guide. It was not a problem when i used Creator 1.0.
I uninstalled the programmer and reinstalled it from the CD given in the kit: only the programmer from 'PSoC programmer' folder. Instead of using it through creator, i tried to program hex file through programmer again configuring mini programmer through recommended settings. It reads the device, erases it.The LEDs of programmer are glowing as well but as soon as i try to burn a hex file in it, it shows device compatibility issues. Please help 😞
