PSoC™ Creator & Designer Forum Discussions
FYI,
After installing Akamai Netsession in order to download PSoC Creator I noticed (several days later) that the Windows Vista 'NT Kernel & Systems' task was running continuously at 20% to 30% of cpu. I didn't see an Akamai task running, but I merely uninstalled it because it was the only thing I'd installed recently.
I'm just passing this along in case others are having the same problem.

Show LessIs there a way to have one header file included in many projects without have to have a seperate copy for each project? It is getting very annoying making sure each project has the updated file. When I add the header file in the project it creates a copy of that header file within the associated project folder.
Show LessHello all,
here's a follow-up to my previous post on the UDB based CORDIC. Here I present RFMS_CORDIC 2.0, which can operate in both Rotation mode (for calculating sine and cosine) and in Vectoring mode (for calculating hypotenuse and arctan2). I've also added support for PSoC 5LP, and provide two example projects demonstrating the operation of each modes on a PSoC 5LP device.
Note that the PSoC 3 version requires a clock that is at most 1/2 of the reference clock, and the PSoC 5LP version requires a clock that is at most 1/3 of the reference clock. Also the Vectoring mode demo project requires <math.h> library and ARM GCC 4.4 seems to have a problem with this. You can bypass this if you use ARM RVDS compiler.
Enjoy!
Show LessHey community!
Can anyone give me a good starting point for training with PSoC creator? I wanted to find a video/guide that goes through a full project from begin to end if there is one. I have gone through the quickstart guide, and understand the general flow of things, just wanted to find something with more details. Thanks

The table of return values on Page 3 of the Emulated EEPROM DataSheet (Em_EEPROM_V1.pdf) contains the wrong return return values.
It shows some values related to power save modes rather than EEPROM writing.

Show LessSo I am trying to open my project with PSoC Creator 2.2. PSoC Creator never loads up on my computer. Icheck the processes and it shows that there is a process for PSoC Creator, but it never opened the starting menu of PSoC Creator 2.2 or my workspace.
