Can I have an example on delivering data by UART in DMA mode?
Hello,
Since upgrading my PC to Win 10 PSoC Programmer simply hangs when using the miniprog3. This happens if the miniprog3 is changed (connected) to a different USB port. I then need to stop the process via the Windows Task Manager. After a couple of iterations of this and then letting the Programmer sit for a long while it will then correct itself and start responding.
I have checked the forums and can't find an issue that relates to this.

Ron
Show LessHello,
I am using the C# UART bootloader provided in AN68272; however, it either hangs or generates error code 4 when trying to push a new cyacd file. The bootloader host application included with the PSoC creator installation works properly and transfers the file successfully. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm really not sure where to begin as the bootloader on the PSoC is working as shown by the successful transfer from the utility included with PSoC creator and the C# app is simply a collection of calls to a Cypress DLL. Any suggestions are certainly appreciated.
Show LessHi,
Whenever I try to install the PSoC creator 3.1/3.2(tried with both) software on my window 7/x64 machine, a window with a message "PSoC CreatorInstaller.exe" pops up and stops the installatio. Update manager also returns the same messages for all installed CY software, whenever it runs. This issue is not allowing me to even open the previously installed PSoC creator versions.
I have started seeing this issue after installing the PSoC Creator 3.2, four weeks ago to upgrade one of the AN project to meet the regression test requirement. I am stuck here. Please help.

Show LessHi!
I wonder if other people are also having problems with the debugger in PSoC Creator 3?
I am currently debugging a very basic USB project on the PSoC 5 LP Development Kit and there are some strange debugger disconnects when stepping through the code. Or sometimes I am not able to pause the program anymore while it runs and the debugger reports an error.

Anguel
Show LessHi all, i have been working in a custom component, it's to drive the nRF24 wireless transceiver from Nordic Semi. I have done some of the basic functions with it.
I attach the project i did for testing it (both based on the 059 board), it basically send packets from the Tx side to the Rx, while the Rx ACKs each packet with another packet.
Tx Packet consist on a count of presses on the onboard switch, a counter for the number of times the packet has been sent and the rest is a read of a ADC input.
Rx Packet is just the count of presses on the onboard switch, a counter for the number of times the packet has been sent.
You can find the same project (up to date) in this Github repository: https://github.com/C47D/PSoC_nRF24_CustomComponent
I would like to know if you find it useful, and some feedback on the implementation.
Carlos
PD: Now i'm working on the same component based on the SCB blocks on PSoC 4.
Show LessI searched on the forum but people were all asking how to use the Jlink with GDB..
I have bought a J-Link Edu and I have the olimex wire and I have connected the probe to the PSoC 4 Pioneer but now what..
I just thought that the J-Link would power the chip and PSoC creator would recognise it..
Have I got this all backwards.. my experience with programming tools is totally limited to the ones microchip provide so I am attempting to use it like their tools (ICD, PICKIT)
I know the PSoC pioneer 4 has a built in debugger but I wanted to try out my jlink as I will be building custom pcbs soon and want to see how they work..
Show LessHello,
This is a bit of a one off, but I'm curious to know if someone has been successful with adapting (configuring) the Character LCD with I2C Interface component for use with a 1602 display module such as this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Display-IIC-I2C-TWI-SP-I-Serial-Interface-1602-16X2-Character-Blue-LCD-Module/172249155181?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D38530%26meid%3D3a182bdf34d4434083fd307fa784614c%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D172230305694
They are inexpensive and I plan to use them in a new amateur radio transceiver based on the PSoC 5.
If this is not the proper forum for this post, please convey an alternate forum.

Show LessHello there,
I am trying to write code for the DFB and simulate it, and the internal editor window that is popping up inside of the DFB parameter configuration window is many times larger than the window itself, meaning that I have to scroll 3-4 full screen widths using the internal scrollbars to see things like the Bus1/Bus2/Simulation Properties side window, or the compilation output window at the bottom.
Has anyone else encountered a problem like this before? Is there a known solution?
Thanks!
