When working with the pins view (.cydwr) and double clicking on a given pin the pin configuration wizard opens up as expected. When closing the pin configuration, instead of returning focus to the pins view from where it was invoked, it returns focus to the TopDesign view. I find this very annoying when doing sequential work on a number of pins.
Would it be possible to remember the invocation context to return focus to it ?

Show LessEvery time I open any workspace or project it opens without any problems.
But the second I click on anything inside the project, whether it is to add a component, edit any component, or the task bar, the software just freezes, with not responding message.
This stays for a few seconds and then the software proceeds, however the action that was meant to happen doesn't happen. This has even been happening with the Official kits' projects i got from this site, so the file isn't at fault here.
Reinstalling the software isn't as easy as I live in a hostel in India with firewalled access to Internet, one of the servers they block is the Cypress one, so I can't update or re-download the software easily.
Are there any steps I can take to do something about this.
I'm using PSoC Creator 4.0
Show LessI have been trying to use BLE Project #40 downloaded from GitHub. I have Creator 3.3, 4.0 and 4.1 installed on my Laptop,
I am not able to see the BLE component settings because that v1.2 component is empty upon download (because I don't have that component version any longer).
If I put the new component version on the top design, and build, how do I get settings properly configured?
I also seem to have a similar situation with Cy_boot (but, one thing at a time).
May I ask for suggestions, please.
Thanks

Show LessI've looked in the PSoC Creator docs, on forums and other searches and couldn't find information about how to create custom build configurations.
I'm familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio features to create custom build configurations beyond the standard Debug and Release. It allows me to define unique conditional compile settings depending on what target I'm trying to build.
In particular for the PSoC family it would be nice if I can have individual compile/build settings for the same app if I'm loading into the CY8KIT-042 which doesn't have a bootloader as compared to the CY8KIT-049 which does. Without loading a separate project.
At least for now, does anyone know how to conditionally compile the "Bootloadable" object. I know how to enable/disable it but I'm trying to load the app it on the 042 and 049 kits correctly.

Show LessHi,
I customize some keyboard shortcuts in PSoC Creator 3.3 SP2 (see here). After a while (not in the same session), PSoC Creator will lose my customizations (i.e. I have to assign shortcut keys again). If I recall correctly, I also encountered this problem in PSoC Creator 3.2. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Thanks,
Fred
Show LessHi I wont to know the difference between PSoC Programmer and PSoC Designer.
When installing 4.1, PDL 2.1.0 was also installed or in my case at least was attempted. It caused my computer to lock and I had to hard reset. I'm guessing that it's partially installed as it shows up in my startup list as being available. It's not showing up in the uninstall list so I can't remove it either. Anyone else have this problem? I don't know if I'll ever use it and hopefully it's not really needed for 4.1.
Show LessIs it possible to link in a batch file so that it runs every time the "build" or "clean and build" project commands are executed? I can hack up the Makefiles manually but I'd like to know if there is a PSoC Creator Approved method to do something like this.
My specific use case is to determine the most recent git commit and whether the source has been modified from that state and to place that in a const char[] at build time.
