I know this question must have been asked several times, but was anyone here able to run PSOC creator on a virtual machine like "Wine" on Linux?? I know some people were able to run PSOC designer.

When working on Linux, I use a VirtualBox instance for Creator. I tried Crossover (basically the commercial version of Wine), but Creator won't install there. There are some (known) incompatibilities between Wine and the .NET functions used by CReator. So there aren't any magic tricks you need to follow - right now its not possible.

VirtualBox is great! One of the best virtualisation pieces of software I have used. Haven't tried it with PSoC Creator though...

I use Creator on VirtualBox even though I already run Windows.
I strongly recommend it, if you need a VM environment.
