PSoC™ Creator & Designer

Hello,

Is it possible to have both Creator 3 and Creator 4 on the same computer?   I would like to keep the production version of our firmware at the Creator 3.x level and the beta version at Creator 4.   We just released a new product and in case there is a problem, I need to work with the 3.x version to correct the problem(s).  However, I would like to move the beta version to Creator 4 and test.

Regards,

Ron

Hi Ron,

Yes, it is possible to have Creator 3 and 4 on the same computer. I have both running on Windows 10 and never had problems.

Hi Carlos,

Could you describe how you did that?

Hi Ron,

Just install Creator 4 normally, major releases (Creator 3.x, 4.x, 5.x, etc) install in parallel, when Creator 4.1 comes out it will be installed "on top" of Creator 4.0.
