PSoC™ 6 Forum Discussions
Hi!
I hope i am in the correct subforum and i apologize if i did something wrong.
So i have a little project, it involves the PSoc 6 and a few electret mics and speakers.
I want to connect analog electret microphones, amplify them via the psoc, convert them into a digital signal i can route to my raspberry pi, make an equalizer there, then go back from the Pi into the psoc, amplify the signal and go out to speakers.
As you probably have guessed i am very new to the whole electronics thing. I hope i can get some help here.
Thank you very much in advance.
Show LessHi,
Does anyone has an idea how to port the AnyCloud/Modus Toolbox for use with a cellular modem in stead of the Wifi / BT interface? Is there a PSoC6 devkit out there with a cellular modem on board? Also, we need to connect to our existing Microsoft Azure Cloud. Did someone already do this?
Any help / suggestions /... is very welcome.
Thanks,
Kris

Show LessThere is an older post here but the code modifications do not work for me and I am getting slightly different results. Solved: CONNECTION BETWEEN ANDROID 8.0 OS AND PROC BLE - Cypress Developer Community
Doesn't appear that I am able to attach project code here for UART-to-BLE Bridge, so I will just provide a link:
Solved: transparent uart using CYBLE-416045-02 - Cypress Developer Community
I am able to connect as a Peripheral Device - using CYBLE-416045-02- using the CySmart App but using another app like Serial Bluetooth Terminal (downloaded from Play Store of Google) and trying to connect, I get errors.
The Phone is able to see BLE_Serial and I need to set up a custom LE Profile:
I end up getting a connection failure due to a write descriptor and gatt status 22, which appears to be because the Android device disconnects from the peripheral (It appears to connect as the LED on peripheral board turns solid green from a blinking blue LED) due to the write descriptor error it is receiving.

Hello
The contents of the HEX file are different
The size of the HEX file created by the same method in PSoC Creator 4.2 depends on the created PC.
Is this a difference due to Metadata?

Hi,
I have a device with a Cypress PsoC4 that is running the UART_to_BLE_Central project in PsoC Creator. And I have a device with Cypress CY8CKIT-062-WIFI-BT kit that is running BLE_Hello_Sensor in WICED Studio. However, the devices do not pair. I can connect to the BLE_Hello_Sensor project from the phone.
What can I do to fix the problem?
Thanks.
Show LessI see a number of similar posts regarding this question, but they all seem to be from several years back and was hoping for more recent information. I recently became very interested in PSOC 6 devices due to hardware capabilities and software development tools (Modus Toolbox utilities, video tutorials, forum support, etc.). I was considering migrating my future designs to PSOC 6 devices, but ran into some confusion when looking into part availability. Specifically, I am interested in PSOC 61 and PSOC 63 devices in QFP and QFN packages (so the soldering can be visually inspected). My first question has to do with conflicting information on the PSOC 61 product page. I initially saw that the PSOC 61 only came in BGA and WLCSP packages on the overview tab.
However, when using the product selector guide, I saw that there were several PSOC 61 options for both QFP and QFN packages, and was confused by the discrepancy. The PSOC 63 doesn't have an I/O Subsystem & Packages section on its overview tab, but the product selector guide does show a few QFN options. When searching for PSOC 6 parts on Digikey, I noticed that there was only stock for BGA packaged parts despite what the product selector guide led me to believe. Are the PSOC 6 QFP/QFN packages going to be made available in the future or are they being phased out? If they are going to be made available in the future, when can we expect them to be released? Additionally, there only seemed to be about 7 parts in stock across all PSOC 6 devices irrespective of package type, giving me concerns about part availability in general.
