Hello.
Q1)
If I use external power(AC adaptor) instead of USB bus power, do I need to change or modify any kits?
Kit guide has descriptions like below figure about “Connection details”.
Do I need to remove or add parts on the kit when using external power?
Q2)
Could you please let us know how to debug with Modus when using external power(AC adaptor)?
Need to use Miniprog4?
PSoC Creator could select MiniProg power settings like below figure.(Internal power or External power)
Is it possible to change MiniProg4 power settings in Modus?

Show LessHello,
I have some suggestions for improving the usability of modus toolbox:
1) Please add the default installation path to the Makefile of all the demo projects, it is quite annoying to have to manually add that path. Better yet, create an environment variable for the location through the installer and use that in the makefiles.
2) When using the Library manager, please make it only process the updated libraries... It's too annoying to have to wait some minutes, just to have one library updated. (Could be done by adding optional parameters to the getlibs make target)
3) a) Do not automatically expand the first group of “Kit Name” the project creator
3) b) Consider allowing double clicks on an item instead of having to click the Next button
4) In some examples, the FreeRTOS config is not in the project root, so it is not picked up when building, but uses the default config ... (E.g. “BLE Batter Level FreeRTOS “)
Best regards
Boris
hi,
is there a guide how to build a project utilizing UDB's with modus.
i.e. it's ok to use psoc creator to build/synthesize the verilog file "once", then include it in the make script in modus

Show LessHi,
I am using CY8C6347BZI-BLD54 and I would like to double my i2s signals (defaulted on port 5), on another port, for example port 8. Is it possible to route them internally?
I want to do this since port 5 will have 3.3V domain, while port 8 will have 1.8V domain, that is the voltage that the i2s device on the other hand is using. If i can double my i2s signals on port 8 IOs, then I don't need a level shifter between the psoc and the i2s device.
thanks!
best regards,
A.
Show LessHello everybody.
I want to tune the ECO clock for PSOC6 board I'm developing.
In the section 4 "Crystal Tuning Technique for ECO" in the document "PSoC/PRoC BLE Crystal Oscillator Selection and Tuning Techniques", the description as below can be seen.
"For tuning, the ECO clock is routed out of the chip to a GPIO to measure the clock accuracy."
So, I'm going to output the ECO clock signal to GPIO for checking and tuning the ECO clock frequency. But I have no idea to output ECO clock to GPIO pin.
For PSoC4, it can be seen in section 4.1.2 (maybe in the code 1).
I want to know how can I assign the ECO output to GPIO for PSoC6. I couldn't find the method for PSoC6 in Modus Toolbox 2.2. Please let me know how to.
Thank you for reading.
