- Does the UART support detecting Break characters and inserting break characters
- Is there a USB driver that can be complied for Bare metal usage
- Does the UART support RS-485
i am new in psoc.I am testing AnyCloud MQTT-Client on CY8CKIT-062S2-43012.
I always got error ''MQTT connection failed with error code 0x82A000D."
what's that mean ?
Show LessHi community,
I contact because because i'm stuck on a implementation for PSOC6.
I want to implement BLE with this functionnality :
My PSOC6 is a BLE Peripheral that exposes GATT server. I want to allow only one BLE4.2 device to connect/pair/bound and connect to it and the possibility to reset this pairing using a push button. My PSOC device do not have display or keyboard
When a bound is already done i want that PSOC6 went in a non-discoverable mode for all others devices in order to avoid connect attemps from other devices.
My PSOC can have a static bd adress, connecting devices can have static bd addr or not (RPA)
What is the best way to implement this functionnality ?
I made some tests implementing whitelist but it fails when the bd adress of my ocnnecting device changes.
Do the white list mecanism works for RPA connecting devices ?
Thank you for your great support,
Kind regards

Hi folks.
I opened a PSoC 6 BLE PSoC Creator 4.4 workspace within which I have been working on containing several projects, without any problems.
Now, when I open projects within the workspace (make active) and then go to any file such as main_cm4.c , *.cydwr the tabs are shown grayed as if these files belong to another project. The only one not grayed out ie. which is concidered to belong to the active project is the schematic .cysch document.
I am stuck as to where I can start since I did not do any file movement action, at least between what was a normally fucntioning workspace and what is now a totally mixed up one as far as references to documents is concerned.
I would welcome any help on this please.
Stephen.
Show LessHi,
I have been working on PSoC 6 CYPROTO Kit. From the reference manual I got to know Cypress uses PIPE for interprocessor communication. I was exploring about the interprocessor communication mechanisms on multicore and got to know about third party framework called OpenAMP and Hypervisor.
I was wondering could this be used on PSoC 6 ?
Just wanted to explore .
Thanks

Show LessHi people.
I was trying to install again the CE222494_PSoC6_WICED_WiFi_Demo in my CY8CKIT-062-WIFI-BT, but I can't.
I understand that the problem is that Wiced Studio 6.6 is not supported the CY8CKIT-062, is that true?
How can I do to fix this problem?
Thanks!
Show LessHello,
I want to understand exactly the part marked as tcpwm[x].compl[u]:y in the CY8C6247 datasheet.
Please check if my understanding is correct.
1. [x] represents the TCPWM block number. If [x] is 0, it means tcpwm[0] with a 32-bit counter.
2. [u] represents the Counter number. If [u] is 0, it corresponds to counter #0.
3. Ports with the same [x] and [u] but different [y] can output the same PWM waveform.
That is, the same PWM waveform can be output from P8.1 and P10.5 as shown below.
a. P8.1 : tcpwm[0].compl[0]:2
b. P10.5 : tcpwm[0].compl[0]:3
Thanks and Regards,
YS
Hello community, I am using CY8C6247BZI-D54 and I want to use Internal Opamp. For that I need to know bias current and offset voltage of the Opamp. Do any one have specification of the internal Opamp?
Thank you.
Show LessHi all,
I am planning a project whose board would initially be piggy-backed on the PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer Kit via the arduino connector.
The project will not need a lot of the onboard hardware subsystems within the Pioneer board such as CapSense, various LEDs and switches etc.
I was therefore thinking of making my own board containing only the parts that I need plus the extra components that I need for the project. PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer Kit programming and debugging subsystems will be retained on my board.
Questions are:
- Is anybody doing this?
- Is it feasable to realise a PCB with reduced number of layers?
- Is there an application note on this task?
- Are the cost savings enough to warrant using my own boad on and end product rather than the Pioneer Kit?
Any help here will be very much appreciated.
Stephen
