        i am working on a project wich requries a use of a pwm signal can anyone give me the performance comparision??

 I was curious too.. i found that pwm provides u with more flexibility.. what is ur application? ( i am using-030) bt i can maybe give u a generalized performance according to ur app!!! 

   

But for me... PWM is the best!!

Performance comparison to what ? What are you trying to do ? What is

   

the goal of the design, its functionality your are seeking, clearly forum

        I have worked on both...and I'd recommend using TRIM......though it is a bit more complex than PWM, it provides a more accurate result.

Pros and cons to either approach.

   

 

   

1) TRIM confined to 8 bit resolution, PWM to 16 bits, PriSM to 32 bits.

   

2) TRIM more outputs available.

   

3) PriSM less clock noise.
