Does anyone know what would cause this schematic error message when building?
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
I wish these errors would at least show the source of the error or at least some more info. This is a design that was compiling with no problems until now.

Additionally to your success with re-booting your PC:
I've got a similar error when I placed a module unto my schematic (a self-made-one) and did not connect the outputs to anything. What happened wás that the optimizer cast away everything but left me this error-message.

Mayhem.
Close psoc creator and restart it.
That fixed it. Whatever 'it' is. It worked.
