I have several simple cuestions for senior PsOCs programmers.
The datasheets show the total analog/digital devices into the concrete micro, I guess, but I'm interested to know how many Opamps I have available for each analog block.
Also the analog subsystem diagram show me the array imput configuration and the
number of analog block, but no the internal analog block configuration which I'm iterested for.
Moreover what the datasheet refers with "User Modules"?
That is the Analog Blocks or previous programed fuctions?
Thanks for your attention. Show Less

Hi,
I would like to know for family PSOC 1 the number of dac 's and resolution per chip.
In datasheet just states a something like "Up to 9-Bit DACs" but doesn't says clear wich device what characteristics has.
More than that some advertisements are telling that line Cy8C28 have better analog characteristics than Cy28C27 . I would like to see a comparation between them.
regards,
Daniel Show Less

Hi All,
I'm having a problem on how to get I2C_bridge binding to the hub, i have tried to take the hex file from the correspondence firmware folder for RF_I2C_BRIDGE and program it to the RF_Bridge but i still can't bind the bridge to the PC_Hub.
Maybe the hex file i have is corrupted !!
However i have opened the RF_I2C_BRIDGE project that i have found in the CD, and whenever i try to build the project it show me the following error.
lib/cyfisnp_debug.c
process_begin: CreateProcess((null), cpsoc.exe --asmlist --errformat --chip=CY8C27443B --WARN=0 --mode=lite --OPT=asm,9 --pass1 --double=32 -q -I./lib -IC:/PROGRA~1/Cypress/Common/CY3E64~1/tools/include/CY8C27~1 -Olib/obj/cyfisnp_debug.p1 lib/cyfisnp_debug.c, ...) failed.
make (e=2): The system cannot find the file specified.
C:\PROGRA~1\Cypress\Common\CY3E64~1\tools\make: *** [lib/obj/cyfisnp_debug.p1] Error 2
RF_I2C_BRIDGE - 1 error(s) 0 warning(s) 23:09:31
Your help on solving this will be really appreciated !
Thanks

I want to use the 8k ECC flash to store some user information. And from the data, it seems tha the user cannot program it directly, one has to program 32 byte at a time with the orgirnal row that extra 32 bytes is linked to.
My questions is
1. Is there a way to program the those ECC flash directly?
2. If it has to program with the row that it links with, does that mean we have to copy the first 256 byte from the row into the latch and then append the 32 bytes and do a write flash?
3. Is there a way to read more than 32 byte ie say 256 byte of the ECC flash in one go? Show Less

I need to use the cut-through USB/DMA mode in my design. Is there any example or more detailed appnote available?
Background: I want to use two 512 byte ISO endpoints. The maximum endpoint buffer in the PsoC 3 is in total 512 byte so i can only use a 256 byte endpoint buffer per endpoint. By using cut-through USB mode, the PSoC 3 will only keep part of the endpoint data in the endpoint buffer such that up to 1023 byte endpoint buffers can be simulated. As data is being sent to the host, more data is being DMAed from RAM to the endpoint buffer. Very nice but very little documentation available. Show Less

I have a CY8C24894 PSoC configured with CSDADC and I2CHW slave modules. The aim is to get the touch positions to an external processor via I2C.
For debug purposes I have commented out all the capsense code. When doing I2C echoes to the master processor without starting the CSDADC, I get a 100% success rate. But when the CSDADC module is started the I2C fails completely. Viewing the I2C lines on a scope shows that when it fails the PSoC does not even give an ACK to the master's address byte. The only difference between the working and non-working projects is the calling of function CSD_Start().
The selection option for CSDADC is "CSDADC with PWM8 clock source". I have attached the project. Show Less

Im a fourth year university student.
Im woking on my final project with some of your product then I got stuck with lots of problem
the components that Im using are cy3280-20x66( universial capsense contoller kit and Cy3280-SLM linear slider module kit.
here is my project overview.
it is about producing white LED with RGB mixing.
three LED (Red, Green and Blue), I want to control of each LEDs intensity with the Cy3280-SLM.
as u know there are 5 buttons and 1 slide. I want to set one button for Red, one for Green and one for Green. moreover
once each button has each different color I want to control the intensity with the linear slider.
So some questions are:
1. Is it technically possible with these kits (Cy-3280-SLM and Cy3280 20x66)
2. if it is possible what kind of sofeware program is needed to program?
3. something more component I need to purchase from your company?
4. anything I should know more?
I will be waiting your answer. Show Less
