PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hi there,
In "The Patron Saints of Cypress Blog", James Davis talks about using Track and Hold components. I would love to use them, but I can't seem to find that component anywhere in the list of available components.
I am using the CY8C3666LTI-027.
Many thanks
Hugo
Show LessGreetings!
I am new in PSOC world and using PSOC minieval1 board. I would like to program (in C) 29466 to count switch press.
E.g: first LED on first switch press (representing binary 1), 2nd LED on when press same switch 2nd time (representing binary 10).
Need suggestion and advice
Kind Regards
Adeel
Show LessI am using PSoC Express, and a CY8C21534 Capsense device. When I try to add an new driver (Button CSA or other) to the block diagramm I get the message "The selection of the xyz exceeds the current capacity of PSoC Express". What is the reason für this error message?
Show LessHi,
I am working with CY8C29466 to communnicate with a digital sensor through UART Communication. The sensor works with the following UART settings.
- baud rate: 2400
- data bits : 7
- stop bit : 1
- parity : Even
- Time out : 1000ms.
With the example UART code I have done the above settings with 8 data bits and tested in PC hyperterminal.
How to configure the UART for 7 data bits?
Show LessI am working on AVNET SPARTAN 3A Evaluation KIT.
I just used a 26bit counter code in the FPGA and
I send the MS 3 bits of the counter to the PSoC.
In the PSoC , I just forward the input signal to
the output port.
The input pins of teh PSoC are P2(5), P2(7) and
P4(6) which are connected with the FPGA I/Os.
The output pins of the PSoC are P0(1), P0(3)
and p0(5) , which are connected with the
connector J9.
I am noticing the counter signal at the input
of the PSoC, But not at the Output pins.
I have given the PSoC main.c code below.
If it is required I can give the VHDL code also.
Please help me, to find out the problem
with my code.
Thank You.

I'm trying to program the about chip with the MiniProg1 however I just get "FAILED! Can not Acquire Device! Please verify the device connection to the Programmer".
I'm using version 1.78 of the MiniProg firmware. Anyone else seen this problem??
Show LessDoes anyone know why FIR filter introduce fixed offset error to the input variables?
Does anyone know why FIR filter rolls off output results instead of saturate?
(i.e. value withing 5 samples go down to 0 and then to 0xFFFF and again to zero).
I'm not able to detect, that it's related to input variable roll-off

Show LessIt means 6 bytes. other bytes are acknowledged (+FF) although not true (I tested with debugger)
Besides if I change variables order those with +FF get real readings
