PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hi!
I am working on my design which should be based on the supplied B_UART (v1.5). Being without hardware for now and later even with hardware - is there any way to simulate/debug the components behaviour without flashing it to the PSoC? I have access to ModelSim, but can't find any ressources on how to test a Verilog-based design which makes heavy use of all the Cypress extensions in ModelSim or some other Verilog simulator!?
Any ideas?
Best regards
Robert
Show Lesssorry to post here but I found no other forum more pertinent.
I am developing a PSOC system with the Power Line Communication Module CY8CPLC10.
I checked the datasheet, but I found no suggested transformer for the signal path, except one that is obsolete.
So I googled around and found the Pulse Eng PE-65812 and PE-65612 transformers, that are suggested for Echelon applications and other digital audio applications.
I think that it should be ok, but I am not sure. Did someone tried it? and can someone suggest some part that is ok for this kind of application?
By The Way, I am using the CY8CPLC10 that is a simple i2c modem. Can it be used in conjunction with the CY8C27443-24SX microcontroller? I found no PLC module inside the PSoc Designer, but I think that it should be simply a matter of software library...
Thank you in advance!

I am running a C based application on PSoC Creator for PSoC3 based board.I applied three breakpoints to debug the code.In this process, when i stepped into the code at the third breakpoint using "step into" debug option, the control is swicthing to a disassembly code rather than the C-code instruction.Any help to solve this is appreciated.

I uploaded block diagram with abastract in Microsoft word .doc format. Is that acceptable?
SIr,
Thanks for your immediate reply . My design is in the need of two ports(pins) for the stepper motor operation. Basically I am trying to operate the stepper motor through the PSoc5, So can you please give me the information regarding the stepper motor ports on the kit or else any alternative solution in order to rotate the stepper motor using PSoc Kit.
Awaiting for our reply ,
Regards,
Narra
