PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
I just released an electronics kit that turns the PSoC 3 into a 1 watt software defined radio transceiver for up to 20MHz. The firmware is open source and I include a SWD jack so you can experiment with your own ideas.
The kit was designed by and for hams who want to experiment with the various free and open source software that is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac. You'll need a amateur radio license to transmit. It's using the SSOP package so you can assemble it with just an ordinary iron, no reflow oven or hotplate needed.

Show Lesshi,
help needed with routing internal hardware to specified pin.
I think I was overexcited by sypress advert - connect any pin to any hardware inside. But hopefully it is true and I just don't understand how to do internal routing.
I want to leave all the connection as it is but connect pins 16 and 18 to my SAR ADC. I am sure I know how to do that - using analog multiplexer and then choose pin I need in software. but how to connect my TX module to pin 3? I couldn't find any way to do so.
thanks,
Oleg
Show LessHI all, i am trying to control the direction of the motor forward or bacward, i am giving out signal, by using DAC from Potentiometer. i am working on KIT number CY8C29466-24 SXI.
If anyone can help me to figure out how to control that would be great.
Thanks
Show LessWhile I was checking on the data sheets of the creator 2.1 componets.
I found the following table in the GraphicLCD spec
| PSoC 3 (Keil_PK51) | PSoC 5 (GCC) | PSoC 5LP (GCC) | |||
Configuration | Flash Bytes | SRAM Bytes | Flash Bytes | SRAM Bytes | Flash Bytes | SRAM Bytes |
8-bit interface | 158 | 1 | 256 | 5 | 184 | 1 |
16-bit interface | 196 | 1 | 264 | 5 | 192 | 1 |
1. Looks like the 5LP is coming.
2. The flash size of PSOC5LP is different to PSOC5, Does that mean PSOC5LP has different instruction set or different hardware so the flash size is different?
Show LessHi all,
In our design we have to connect the PowerPSoC (CY8CLED04D01) to PC for transferring some data. so we have to connect the UART outputs from the PSoC to an TTL5V to USB converter . We have choosen this TTL-232RG-VSW5V-WE in the link http://www.ftdichip.com/Products/Cables/USBTTLSerial.htm
we think the above mentioned part will do good. Or is there any other better suggestions??...
Thanks,
Kallis
Show LessHello,
When I connect my CY3240 SUBIIC bridge, the bridge control panel software (v1.4.0.1126) it shows following message for firmware upgrade
"Opening Port CY3240 Bridge's firmware is out of date. Please, read Release Notes for updating instructions.Successfully Connected to Bridge/0000011USB2IIC Bridge version 1.22"
I would like to know, "How to upgrade CY3240 bridge's firmware"?
I couldn't locate any information on Cypress web site.
Any help will be appreciated.
