Hello ALL
I used UART component, I kept the buffer size for both tx and rx as 20. So internal interrupt is enabled .we can write the interrupt code in the UART_Int.c file right........
But why does the component provide two interrupt pins to be connected. even though i have not enabled any of the interrupts. i have attached the screen shots..
And second thing , i am using one LCD which takes 6 pins, one for RX and other pin for TX... on building the project the report file says that i have used 12 pins.....and allows me to use only 60 pins out of 72...... what is wrong ...
i have attached all the screeen shots
Show LessHello,
Recently i started working on PSoC 3 (CY8C-001 kit), in the Application Note (AN52705) the project "Point-to-Array Transfer" (ADC_DMA_Mem) i am able to see the ADC samples in the watch window ,but now using this data (ADC samples) can i see the replica of input wave on the CRO using VDAC8??
Show LessHello All
I just want to give a suggestion , the components in PSoC are amazing no doubt in that but there are very simple projects that come with it....
you may say the size will be greater never mind ,but creator will be worthy...
You may point to some app notes but also there are no app notes for some of the components........
Please can you guys do many app noyes and provide utilisation of many of the features which amatuers cannot work on...
Show LessI am using Single Mode ADC on PSoc3 Development kit. Now even when I select Input Range upto a maximum of 6.048 volts, I am only being able to retrieve 4.023 volts on LCD as the maximum voltage. The voltages on the lower ranges like 2.87, 3 volts are correctly identified. Any help will be deeply appreciated.
Show LessHello All
Cypress has provided 001 kit to work with . Thanks to Cypress.
In the 001 kit i find something "wireless".
Can any one tell what is that device and its functionality.
Secondly where can i find the example project and work with it.(Cypress has provided 5 kits, if data transmissioin is poaaible among these will be great!!!!)
Show LessHi,
I am new to PSOC and i am facing error "requires ANSI-style prototype".
This is the code
#include <device.h>
#include "stdio.h"
#include "math.h"
/* Number of samples to be taken before averaging the ADC value */
void main()
{
/* Start both DACs */
IDAC1_MSD_Start();
IDAC2_LSD_Start();
/* Sets both IDACs to source current */
IDAC1_MSD_SetPolarity(IDAC1_MSD_SOURCE);
IDAC1_MSD_SetPolarity(IDAC2_LSD_SOURCE);
/* Sets proper ranges */
IDAC1_MSD_SetRange(IDAC1_MSD_RANGE_2mA );
IDAC2_LSD_SetRange(IDAC2_LSD_RANGE_255uA);
/*facing problem in this line*/
iDAC11_SetValue(12) ;
}
/* 11-Bit SetValue function. */
void iDAC11_SetValue(uint16 dacValue)
{
uint8 msb, lsb;
/* Split data into 2 bytes */
msb = (uint8)(dacValue >> 3);
lsb = (uint8)((dacValue << 0) & 0x07);
/* Write values */
IDAC1_MSD_SetValue(msb);
IDAC2_LSD_SetValue(lsb);
}
Please reply ASAP its urgent.
Hi people,
The Appnote given below describes the power supervision using PSoC3.
http://www.cypress.com/?docID=38500 .
A very interseting app note. please take a look at it.
Show LessHello forum folks,
I can't get 2 seperate PGA's to compile on my PSoC 3 project using Creator2. I get the message:
"Unable to find a solution for the analog routing. The analog side could not be routed due to congestion or other constraints."
Removing either one seems to clear the problem. I do not get a lack of ressources message. What other blocks may be congesting the analog routing?
I am using 2 other op amps but removing one of those doesn't clear my problem.
I'm using a Cy8C3866Axi-040.
Hope my attachement's not too big. ( I say that all the time.)

Show LessHi,
I'm using a CY8C20647S device and I have several configurations of CapSense pins I am using... such as all separate buttons, vertical sliders and horizontal sliders. I also want to add another config that would mux all the CapSense pins together as one proximity type button. So far I can't seem to find out how to do this... but I believe it is possible as someone mentioned this to me previously, unfortunately I can't get in touch with this person!
Thanks,
Doug
