I have my own custom component designed. I want this componenent to show up only when using PSoC5 and not to appear when the device selected is PSoc3 . Where can I write a condition to remove the component.?
Does CyRemove work ???

In a oximeter system we have to use Red LED and IR LED, and photo diode, these Red and IR connected in such a manner cathode of Red led is connected to IR anode and Anode of Red is connected to IR cathode switching them at a frequency 1KHZ. this signal sensed by the photo diode has to two components Red and IR . what is way to seperate out them , whether we have to use mux to seperate. if so that mux is internal mux or external , if it is internal how firmware should be used.if it is external how can we use it.
Thanks
Show Lesshi to all,
do we have resistors and capacitors in creator 2.0 for psoc 3.if they are in creator from where can we access and their firmware.
thanks

Show LessHi everybody,
I am a newbie of PSoC designer. Now I am taking a project that is converitng from Oxycell Sensor in orfer to display percentage on the display. The sensor output is 5mV and I don't know how to calip it at 21 percent? So I would like to use CY-PSOCEval1 PSoC 1 EVALUATION KIT. I had this kit already . I am now learning urgently how to prgram with this chip.
I think it will take a lot of time to reach the result unless receiving the support all of you. Could you please give me the sample or instruction that you have done with the same project. I need the sample of Assembly code.
- The first question is that can I connect directly sensor to the PSoC Kit? Or I have to make an amplifier circuit between them?
- When sensor is operrating in normal atmosphere (21% standard), we need calip the display at 21 % when connect sensor to kit. Because the output voltage from sensor will be reduce gradually. For example, Noe its output is 5mV, but after 5 days of using, its voltage will be 4 mV. But the display must show 21% at any time when it running in normal atmosphere.
I look forward to your reply soon. Thank you in advance.
Please see picture of the kit and Oxygen Sensor below:

Show Lesshello to everyone i want to develop oscillioscope and signal generator using psoc3 kit and want to display on my laptop using any program. i have very basic knowledge about psoc.Request to all forum member please help me to design this project
Show LessI'm trying to develop a system in which input data is decoded. The input waveform to be decoded is a spi byte from an external device with spi frequency of 100KHz this is connected to p1_3
The timer 16 is set to run at 1MHz with a period of 10, so that the terminal count occurs every 10us. P1_3 is set to generate an interrupt on every falling edge of the waveform
On the first falling edge the timer is started, on every subsequent falling edge the value newdip is updated. In the timer_isr, the program should check if there's been a gpio interrupt in the past 10us if not, the variable value[] is updated.
I tried running the program with only the gpio and only the timer16 and they work fine individually but I can't get them working together. I observed that only the gpio_isr is called not the timer_isr
Please can anyone help me? I've been stuck on this problem for a week now and still no solution. THANKS
Show LessHi,
I'm pretty new in programming and I have a Problem with reading out a Float Value from EEPROM.
To get the FloatValue in! the EEPROM i do this:
char *ptr = (char*) &FloatValue;
EEPROM_ByteWrite(*ptr++,0,0);
EEPROM_ByteWrite(*ptr++,1,0);
EEPROM_ByteWrite(*ptr++,2,0);
EEPROM_ByteWrite(*ptr++,3,0);
I think this works, but how can I get the value back?
Can you give me an example?
thanx
I have encounterd problem in SD card interfacing with SPI. Initialisation can not be done. EVen SCLK is not generating. Plz giv me some sugetns about what would be the problem.
Show LessHI fellow programmers,
I am doing some datapath and verilog programming and I needed help with the transferring of data. As you all know, all computation are stored inside the A0/A1 register. However, I am interested in pushing this data to D0/D1 register so that I can carry on with more computation on the A0/A1 registers. I have already used up the 4 bytes in FIFO. So is there anyway I can transfer the data from A0/A1 to D0/D1?
