Dear sir or madam,
I'm using CY8C5868LTI-LP039 in my project since a while without utilizing the CAN2.0b transceiver. Due to shortages in availablility I'd like to exchange CY8C5868LTI-LP039 with CY8C5868LTI-LP038. Apart from the CAN2.0b transceiver are both chips the excact same? Meaning can I run my LP039 firmware on a LP038 target?
Thanks for your feedback!

Hello Infineon World!
I'm using PSoC 5LP (CY8KIT-59) and I'm reading the data of a 3 axial accelerometer using the 3 ADCs. I want to send the 3 axis values continuously to the ESP32 (SPI)
First the PSoC5LP will work as a master or a slave?
Should I use the DMA request buffer to send it to the ESP32? I can see there's no digital output in the ADCs in TopDesign, but only in the main we can get it by calling ADC_GetResult()
How to send all 3 axis' data to one component (ESP32)
Sorry I am new to SPI and PSOC
Show LessHello,
I added an I2C slave component and created the API using PSOC creator 4.0
It seems that the API has no read\write routines.
Am I right ?
In order to read a message coming from external I2C master I first have to poll "incoming message" and then read it.
Can you please provide a sample code for I2C slave ?
Thank you in advance,
Zvika
Show LessHello
I am not able to drive CY8C58LP GPIO using JTAG, in one of my board.
I can do chain test (ID and Bsreg test) are getting passed,
Kindly help me
Best Regards

Show LessHello,
I'd like to wire Raspberry PI UART pins directly to UART pins of cy8ckit-059. Raspberry says PI has UART voltage 3V3 and connecting 5V may cause damage to GPIO. I would like to know what voltage level is present on cy8ckit-059 12_6 and 12_7 pins and if it's safe to connect it directly to Raspberry. I supply power through USB connector (5V).
Thank you,
Hello all ,
I have a custom psoc5lp board ,
I want to implement an I2C SLAVE to I2C MASTER bridge ,
So the psoc is just a short between those 2 i2c interfaces .
I want a pc connected to the i2c slave to control the i2c slave devices
and not the PSOC.
as shown in my attached picture :
I have seen one implementation of a short (its not so easy because i2c communication works both ways ).
but this kind of implementation is not good for me because in some cases in my design the psoc need to take
control and not pass the i2c traffic .
so What are my options ?
record the pc i2c master commands and mirror them to the i2c master component ?
Maybe something else ?
Thanks Lampel.
Show LessHello! I am working with the PSoC5LP board, particularly analyzing the configuration of the SC / CT blocks. On page 487 of the 'PSoC5LP_Registers_TRM' I observe that the configuration of the SC_REDC register varies depending on the mode and that it is recommended to see the documentation 'Switched Cap'. Since I have not been able to find this documentation, I am contacted to request it.
Thanks in advance!
I came across a post from Rolf Noteboom where he had set up a debug session with PSOC Creator and Visual Studio for the PSOC5LP.
I followed the instructions on my Macintosh, and it almost worked. So I kept going. I made it work with a few additions to the instructions. Once set up, debugging is fast on the Mac.
You can find my notes here: https://socmaker.com/?p=1004

Hello,
For a project I am trying to make, I need to know the elapsed time between each cycle(so that i can subtract these) . I know that in arduino you can use the millies() functionfor , but I didn't find anything like that in the creator. I am aware of the exsistence Odissey's implementation using a stopwatch, but I wonder if there is a easier way to do this.
thanks for replying
Hi everyone... I'm working with the DS18B20 temperature sensor and I'm using One-Wire Protocol, the project is working well but I have a question:
Why when I use any of the following pins: P0[2], P0[3], P0[4], P3[2], in order to read the sensor's signal, the display shows me 0.00 ºC, but when I use any other GPIO Pin the display shows a correct temperature value?
There is something I'm missing something about those pins? Any caracteristic that doesn't allow them to function in data sensor reading?
Thanks in advance...
