Hello,
I created a USB device using the USBFS feature of the PSoC Designer, and now I want Windows to show it connected (in the device manager) with a custom name instead of the "USB Input Device" is currently listed as.
How can I do it?
Right after connecting the device, it shows the name I defined in the USBFS wizard, but after that, the name changes.
Thanks,
Lior

Show LessI want to port an application already developed that uses a high-level USB API. Converting to a Cypress 3271 based system will provide for expansion that the current embedded MCU is not capable of supporting.
I want to avoid having to code a low-level kernel based USB Driver. Show Less
In our current research project I need to use the debug pins on P1 temporarily for another purpose under
program control.
So I want to be able to disconnect the pins from the JTAG/SWD and connect them to some other circuitry under software control.
However, PSoC creator does not let me do it unless I have switched to "GPIO" in the debug section (Programming\Debugging->Debug Select) in the system tab.
I have searched through the TRM and only found the hint in Section 39.5 of the PSoC 3 TRM:
"Two NV latch bits determine the state of the JTAG/SWD interface pins at reset"
But it does not say whether this can be changed later.
I want the pins active as debug on startup, but I want to wire them to internal circuitry.
Since the acquisition of the test controller is such a protected activity I am sure that my external circuits will not
interfere with the debugging function until my application software runs and can control the enable/disable of the debugging functionality.
I am not sure whether this is problem of PSoC Creator or the architecture that's why I ask here.

Show LessHi everyone,
I am using CY8CKIT-001 and CY8CKIT-009(psoc3). My problem is capsense button continuously looks pressed. I don't know this is hardware or software problem. I've tried some things related to software but I could not reach the conclusion. Before I was using CY8CKIT-010 (psoc5). I changed related to program for psoc3 but capsense problem continue. I wonder my problem related to devolopment kit. Because capsense button automatically is working. I don't try for not having another development kit. Can you help me? What could be the problem?
